Default Need recommendations for custom header builder

I'm building a Cheetah replica that will have side exhaust similar to a Cobra. I'd appreciate hearing about anyone in Georgia you'd recommend to build the exhaust system (i.e., headers, side pipes).

I had these guys build the headers for my Cobra. They are in Minnesota and I am in Ohio. They did a really nice job in 304. Cost about $1200 with shipping. They used to be with Stainless headers Mfg., but Stainless does not make headers anymore and they work with these guys.

Custom Stainless Steel Headers - Gp Headers inc.

Did you try a supplier of the Cheetah?

Yes. I've identified several suppliers that are far from me. I'm looking for someone closer to home. That's why I posted this on the Atlanta Cobra Club forum.

Exotic exhaust in Hiram GA did an outstanding job on my headers and sidepipes at a reasonable price. Mine have weld up merge collectors. I don't like the soot showing from slip-ons, but also unwilling to go without a true merge. They are equal length 1-7/8"-2" stepped. pm me if you want his number.

Close up of the welding.

Here is the exhaust he built for my VRSCR in stainless. When polishing, the welds required zero dress up, straight to the buffing.

Google "Stainless Headers Mfg" he has a custom jig he will send you so they will fit the first time! Did some work for me and it was perfect and reasonable!
