Looks like the weather is clearing for the afternoon. Anyone around for a drive this afternoon?

I wouldn't mind a jaunt in the GT-350. I am gonna call Randy and see if he is putting on the body today.

Took mine out some this weekend. I installed a new 16", 2360 CFM Spal coooling fan on Saturday, so I just HAD to test it, you know The fan works really well. Very happy with it. The car ran okay, but something just didn't seem quite right...

Took it out for a very short bit today. Then spent a few hours adjusting the valve lash and checking the spark plugs. A couple of valves needed tweaking. Plugs looked decent enough; some needed cleaning. I noticed the distributor had worked itself loose slightly (there's the culprit) so I'll reset the timing tomorrow.

There's just something magically comforting about working on your own car. Getting your hands dirty. Becoming familiar with it's workings and its idiosincri... idiosynchri... uh... it's quirks.
