How did the trailering work to theSAAC

How did the trailering work out. Did those uhauls work out OK??

Alex, Chill ran into problems and was unable to get his car on to the trailer. For me, the Uhaul worked well. My only problem was putting the tonneau cover on the car for the return trip since it was raining about half of the way. I got a few scuff marks that I will have to polish out. The good part about using the open trailer was experiencing the spectators and their reactions during the whole trip. The rest stops were a real hoot!

I went to pick up the trailer and it was more original than my car... it had to have been a 1965! I couldn't get the ramps to flatten enough to clear the pipes and undercarriage, so I tucked the car away in the garage and we headed up in the GMC. I was bumming most of the way there, but soon got immersed in the fun and then immersed in the rain.... no regrets.

I'll drive next time.

It could be the difference in the cars 427SC vs FIA. I didn't have anything scrape loading or unloading. How much does that additional 45 cubic inches weigh?
