Alex,

Unfortunately I did no work on the car. I installed a 220 line for my welder and played with it yesterday. The line took much longer than anticipated as a certain someone forogt to give me an instruction that would have saved some time Never mind the fact that anything homeproject wise I do requires 3 trips to Home Depot to exchange stuff and buy what I forgot on the first trip

I take it you were trying to get it down a conduit???? I happened by the HD Saturday and the one by me was selling the single punches but they weren't cheaper either $35 for the one with the bearing. I got a stick welder last year. Its been fun welding holes in stuff

TC,
Looks like the hotrod is taking shape. Can't wait to hear that hemi. What do you have for suspension to carry it?

Hey if you need extra garage space after it's done, I have room for the GT350 in mine

TC
A couple of the boys want to go to Costa Rica this fall. I can't imagine what randy's got???
I wasn't making fun of the conduit...... just asking. Actually I was poking fun at myself about the great holes I've made in stock trying to weld. You sure can burn some holes quick if you don't know what your doing.
PS
I wouldn't try that thing on the Kirkham. Doesn't do anything on the SPF.... something about plastic?????

Thumbs up

Nice HOTROD!!! I wondered where that project had gone once the 'alu-monster' arrived....

Definitely Agree! NO bow tie...

I saw a beautiful '34 Ford (actual metal car, not glass!) at Johnny B's cruise-in a few weeks ago.. Ford emblems in all the right places, even a teeny-tiny one hand painted a the very front of the pinstripe..... but I looked under the hood and YIKES, a SB Chevy.

When asked WTF? the owner said.. " I wanted it to run". I offered to show him a Ford run and motioned over to my car, but he declined.... wimp.....

...even the wife shrugged her shoulders in disgust....at him, of course

BTW, the rod has officially been published in unfinished form. A real popular trade rag "HotRod and Restoration" magazine--I am sure your local 7-11 has it . Randy, I am sure someone of your inate intelligence can find the May issue

just noticed, using my innate intelligence, that I incorrectly spelled innate now I will forever be know as inatesnake.

Just watched a progam on fantasy camps and now have another goal / project, Mig 25 fantasy camp. For about 20 large you can go to Moscow for four days and ride in Mig 25's - Mach 3.2, 80,000 feet to the very edge of space. The ultimate experience for the inate
