Saturday forecast as of tonight does not look too good.....:CRY:
Someone has to call this thing for the group, based on weather.... I'm not afraid to get wet, but don't want to bve driving around all day in the rain....:confused: Charlie |
I was just looking at the same thing Charlie but it shows showers at 40% chance from 12-3 and 30% from 10-12. Not bad if you’re a betting man. Not long ago I was prepared for a day of rain only to have nothing but sun & heat - today's forecasts seem at little sketchy these days. I open to whatever - Randy, I think you’re the lead on this one. BTW, when it says 80% chance I still think it's pretty promising - I'm an optimist!

the weather forecast I was looking at said for Sat: foggy in the morning with partly cloudy all day until 6pm .. then 30% chance of isolated showers.

You started this thread, so I say YOU call a go/no go by 8:00PM Friday night, based upon the Saturday forecast..... That way we have time to check the latest weather reports, and decide on the trip. I'm all for going even it looks questionable, but I'm not going if the forecast is for rain all day----I have no topon the car, and been in enough rain on a bike to know it's just no fun.... Natinal Weather Service Boys are happy as clams tonight. Little update on Forecast Discussion, no weather alerts, and a repeat of afternoon forecast.

You started this thread, so I say YOU call a go/no go by 8:00PM Friday night, based upon the Saturday forecast..... Well since I will have a top this time (no Cobra) I am not the best person to decide. If I was in the Cobra I would go if the forecast said 30 % chance of rain in the afternoon, any higher or earlier and I would question my sanity (which most people do all of the time). I agree with the 8:00 pm go no go Charlie suggested. Randy |

I actually plan on going pending word on the rain. Got the carb issue straightened out, and now may have a charging problem with the battery. May just have to park on hills. I'll plan on meeting at the Sonic unless I hear otherwise. Is anyone taking the better half? DC |
Rain probability goes up exponentially as the afternoon approaches. I'm out for the Canton deal, but a morning run, lunch and a shower-dodge return sounds fun. Is someone bringing a digital camera? I got lunched by a Z3 in my Dakota this morning. I wish I could change cars as fast as Superman can change clothes.

Tony, I'll be at the corner of Lawrenceville / Suwanee Rd and GA20 at 8:30. From there it should only be about 30 minutes or less to the Sonic. |
