Jason, just make sure he gives you ALL his advice, not just half. He still owes me a weekend worth of time.

We could pick up the Cobb folks or everyone just meet up at the Riverstone area exit off 575 since most have been to that show. Since were going that way that's where I'll meet up. There's a Cracker Barrel just West of the exit on Riverstone Pkwy - we could meet in the parking lot and wait for the slow pokes.

I might have to go to Savanah this weekend. Looking at property down in Darien. I think I'll have to pass this one

I can't go on the full trip because of previous plans but would love to see a few thirsty reptiles on Saturday morning. If the plan is to meet near Riverstone off 575, I'd love to make a nice quick a.m. run up and back from Marietta.
Cracker, hopefully others will be agreeable to meeting there.

Hey guys;
Anyway to coordinate this with a stop off at the RiverStone (Canton) show---that's the third Staurday, and it gets going around 3-4:00PM.
Patrija---Thanks, I'm on the look---this was no surprise. Telecom industry is a real hurt, and I had been expecting this to happen. Anyway, looking into all alternatives.
Chill---maybe---like Randy, I'm not sure what that is or if I have the qualifications, but willing to investigate. Let's talk.

That's what I was thinking. I figured I would stop off there after the organized Cobra cruise and hang out a bit.

The way the cruise is set up we would go up on the northwest side and return down the northeast side. For the non map readers visualize an inverted U. I am open to reversing the the route so that we end up in the northwest area on the return leg.
I will have the option of airconditioning and digital music so I am very flexible. My car won't be ready for the trip so I'll drive the alternate vehicle the weak spirited Boxster

TC are you trolling for a date or is it that inquiring mind of yours working overtime
The overnight deal was an early suggestion - inquiry and DC was the only one that really repsonded.
Are you going to make the trip ?

Funny what can happen in an hour. Since Randy won't be my date , I am meeting the Gasholes at the Monterey Historics. I have to be in San Francisco on Monday, so I moved my flight out there to Friday and I'll catch about 10-15 original CSX cars while I'm there. I will take pics!!
Be Safe and have fun. You can thank Computerworks for this one--he literally prompted me to find some cheap airfare. The 7AM departure should be JUST lovely .

I'm ok with reversing the route. That allows for a stop off at Riverstone on the way back. If we are headed to Dahlonega first then up 60 to Blue Ridge, I would suggest heading up 9 from Cumming. Its a better ride than 400.
A good meeting place is the McFarland exit. There's a Waffle House, Shell, Arby's, etc..... Or we could meet at Canton Hwy (20) and rte 9 in downtown Cumming.... Whichever we decide's ok with me, I'm easy... just not cheap!

Alex,
CR or Nicaragua have my vote. Save a spot for me. I am so sick of the politics here I will put up with anything so long as I can have some personal firepower and nice roads. It is all I ask for.
I am now fighting a 4 year old personal property tax issue for a motorcycle. I told the dude, I owned X vehicles at the time, we have no problem on any of them but this one. You printed on paper that you renewed my tag from one year to the next yet you insist I did not pay the tax. That is supposed to be impossible at face value (non-renewal of registration due to back taxes), what gives? He gets all flustered and says well it is now, (I know you will get this answer right), my problem. I say phuck you, and say I am moving to South America within a week anyway, go have a nice day. THIS SH!T boils my blood.
