Default Austell car shows Labor Day weekend

There are two car shows Labor Day weekend. One the 30th and one on Monday the 1st. Can we get a consensus on one of these days and all go? We need an AC Cobra club banner for sure. My pick would be sat the 30th as its more of an evening event. Here are the links to the flyers. TC will you have something running by then? Got the hole done?

Alex,

I went to this one a couple of year ago, and it was a great show. It was one of the biggest carshows I've ever been to. Count me in.

Let's talk about it on Saturday ...

I like to go but I don't know for sure if I'll be in town.

Definitely interested, just fell behind in my reading. How about anyone who comes out Saturday gets a vote then we post the show that we will grace with our sparkling personalities and boisterous pipes.... or was it sparkling pipes..

Alex, all set with the holes, however I may need to buy a Greenlee smaller than what you gave me for the fuel pressure line, or find a good grommet and just do a bigger hole.

Mike
I think I know a good place to buy grommets. Its called ACK electronics down off of northside in town. I just talked to them and they have them up to an inch. If you need I can swing by and get them for you. They aren't far from my house. I tinker with electronic stuff so I'm familliar with the place. I don't know if they have a greeley smaller than what I have but I'll bet ACK may have chassis punches also. Ill check Greely on the web and get back. Any help we can give to get your car on the road for Labor day!!!!

Alex, went there today and also BCI at lunch. BCI had a fuel line that goes from a #4AN on one side to a #3AN on the other. I bought a 1/2 inch Greenlee (if anyone wants to get rich, just make Greenlee knock-offs--THEY ARE NOT cheap). also bought some (like a 100) 1/2 inch grommets. If anyone ever needs a 1/2 inch grommet, I am the man.

Oh Alex, the folks working the counter and the customers of this place are, ahem, shall I say interesting!!

I'll check, but I looked at all three of them this weekend, and I think the smallest was more like 5/8s, which is what prompted me to shell out the $$$$$$ for the 1/2 inch.

Now, where were we?...ah yes Labor Day car shows....

I checked, you did loan me a half inch one. I eyeballed it wrong. I'll return it when I am down towards Cumberland Blvd. which may be tomorrow.

Maybe we should start a new post called "tool time"
Back to Labor Day I can't make next weeks run so what ever you want to do is fine. I figuer Saturday would be alittle easier as some people will be grilling out monday with the familly. Its also a little later in the day which ==s cooler temps. I can bring a canopy top we can hang a ACC banner from. Do you think they will let us set up a grill? Maybe we can do some hambergers or dogs etc what y'all think?
