TC the Cobra short block has ice in the cylinders and is being used to keep the cokes cool. The hemi is the keystone in the new shelves they had to build to hold all of your other parts. The assortment of heads do a nice job of keeping the tarp from being blown off the parts car out back.
I'll be in the garge today installing the "fan belt" you saw. After that it's on the road if all goes well. Drop by if you are in the area.

First Redeemer
Look for a 'not-quite-Guardsman-blue' QuikShade. I am going over 2:30 or 3-ish and will try to stake out a few parking spots.

I plan on being there in the 2-2:30 range myself. Brad has a few spots reserved for us.

Last word on First Redeemer
Tony and I each won a 2nd in class. Apparently registration put us in different classes, Tony in 'Sports Car' and Chill in 'Classic Car'. It worked out well though. Good turnout of 120 or so cars and HOT!
Now that that is settled, how about that Austel show?

Whoever stuck the two of you into two different categories was really really smart.
Much smarter than the McDonald's person who I had to check the bag 4 times for the order to be correct. TC, drove away with $20 worth of cholesterol for $12. I knew something was wrong I swear all I wanted was my original order. Anyone want some fries?

Chill had to take on the Ferraris and I had the Vipers. The Viper lady who beat me had a '96 and was claiming 700+ HP and 265 MPH. It sounded stock to me.

Good news: You did not lose to a Chevy. Good job.
Worse news: You lost to a Viper...and a lady. Don't be surprised if Bill locks the doors to Southern if he sees you coming.

Congrats Tony and Chill. I hope you had your AC Cobra stickers prominently displayed
Talk about hot. Johan and I spent the weekend in driving suits at Road Atlanta. He was the hit of the DE with the winston cup car. PCA guys dig nascar.

What the heck you congratulating them for DC? At least Tony was Mano enough to fess up. Chill is nowhere to be found. He may have lost to a AMC Pacer from the rumor mill I hear (I never believe rumor mills BTW). I just put out a APB out for him.

Mike, there actually was a Pacer there. If I had my new shiny hotrod engine, I would have taken the gold medal.

I saw her riding off with the judge at the end of the show. I don't get it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.....
I believe I lost to the Ferrari Daytona Coupe, shame shame.
or the Pacer.... dunno. When they were calling out the winners, the wife had just arrived and was suggesting we pack up when I heard my name... no idea who was first... and its not posted on the First Redeemer site.. Tony, any idea if they post that stuff.. since you are the show guy?
The hardest thing was keeping my son from marking down his vote for all the other cars in our class. I finally had to take away his voting priviledges!
