Default my block lives

After a way too long wait my genesis lives. I had it at the dyno today for mainly brake in before I pulled my working motor. I did not want to get this genesis nightmare in my car and have it leak or even come apart, and be left with a car that doesn't work. I am happy to say everything went fine. They did the brake in all day yesterday and one HP pull this mornig. They only turned it 5000 rpms ( at my request ) and it made 517 hp and 543 flb of torque. They did no tweking on it as they said I set it up as good as they could without spending all day for mabey 10 or 15 more hp. Now all I have to do is put it in and find a new home for my old one. See ya'll on the road ( if I can ever get a weekend off).

Congrats Jeff! Those are very good numbers and the torque is especially strong. Can't wait to see it in person - soon hopefully!

Jeff - there are plenty of pilots to back you up! You know it will make you sick to miss the fun run on the 16th so you might as well just call in sick in advance and join us! Excercise that motor some - we BB need to stick together!

Folks, I am probably one of the few to have seen Jeff's car in person. It is one of the most georgeous colors I have ever seen, and it will be one of the finest prepped Cobras you will see. Jeff has spent probably over a year in building this motor. His whole car was built by him for all pratical purposes. Good to to see on the board Jeff.

Like Ben, I'm interested in the details of your Genesis, lot's of folks have been waiting for a completed/running engine.
I'll push mine even harder knowing there's a reliable replacement available.

I would sure like to know how this block does with it's thicker walls in the water temp department. How it cools in a Cobra etc.

Very excited about having a new FE solution, congrats.
