Default Atlanta: A few engine build pics

Rods and pistons. Sorry for the quality, Susan gave me a disposable camera 'cause knucklehead here left his camera at home.

Right side. As you can see, it's a real short stroke.

Nice looking motor - it needs to be installed

Don't you just love the WRC series. Big balls racing at its best.

TC - Are high rise heads spark plug configuration a little different than MR's? It looks like all the plugs are pointed in the same direction - are you sure Bill didn't sell you a 510 CI small block? Remember BB look big from the outside.

I did note that BB Size distributor - no mistaking that!

Seriously, your engine looks great - now just get it in the car!

Guys
I don't think the assembled motor is TC's. Thats a motor for an Eleanor.
Tony
As far as big motors vs small motors..... I didn't want to defend my motor too!!

Talking about Speed vision. Somewhere on another post somebody mentioned they were using an SPF as a pace car at Watkins Glen. I watched some racing at that track that was on a 5pm Sunday... No SPF! It looked like a mini van. Does anybody know about this???

SPF - Mini Van what's the difference other than 300 hp - head turning looks - and hours of grins.

TC I see only one relief cut in the piston - you running trick one valve heads ?
