Mike, we're talking "simplex communications" here. Not asymetric, simplex. I've tried everything to avoid the telemarketer filter like:
- getting Jennifer to mosey back and get some visual G2.
- Impersonate an actual cash paying customer looking to pay big bucks for an ugly, period-correct big block.
- Ed McMahon inpersonation announcing that Bill has won the Publisher's clearing house sweepstakes.
- A salesman giving free timshares to exotic fishing resorts on the Yukon River.

I guess I'll have to come up with something clever.

Mike, I really like that three barrel carb. The secondary looks serious. Did you check out my Mighty Demon? I had the opportunity to fondle it the other day. Very nice!

Tony,
If you would like me to road test your Demon on my stroker, I would be happy to oblige and report back when you get your car back this spring

... Well done Tony. I thought them keeping up with my ever-changing e-mail accounts with their spam filter was pretty good, but you definitely out-did me... and that came directly from Bill. I got to hear all about the street-rod motor in a Cobra ..
...or was that a Dodge motor in a Ford Hot-Rod.. I get them confused....

...of course, Randy claiming the bottle of Wild Turkey as his gift to Bill was indeed a stroke of genius.... I see I'm playing with a clever crowd... not very pretty, but definitely clever...

Now back to the thread.... who can go Friday night??

We'll be there. Is there a back way in besides the connector? Northside drive maybe?

Chill, you still have some of those stickers?

If TC is going to be home Friday and wants to see grown men drool we could stop by his place and check out that bad new motor.

Andrea and I can go anytime - it's kinda fun being an empty nester.

I am in for dinner tomorrow. Want to meet here then, and then head down. Randy, I took tomorrow off from work. I may actually call someone I know, and many of you need to meet sometime, a friend who restores Mustangs. I may start install tomorrow to free up Sunday. The good races start at noon on Sunday.

P.S. to all those who are not "in the know". My wife at this point is on a "not to need to know" basis about Deuce Roadsters and Hemis". I have filed it under "science project" for now .

We're good to go... ok Randy we now need a time and meeting place.

My only conflict is needing to be home by 10pm, which shouldn't be a problem... I have to drop my daughter off at a sleep-over.

Here's the latest from Randy (stuck in traffic) and TC. TC has gratiously volunteered (or been volunteered) to have us meet at his house around 7:00pm tonight and we will make dinner plans from there. Likely not downtown, but maybe somewhere in the Alpharetta area.

Try to be there, its a great night for a cruise... and for those who love the Varsity, there's one in Alpharetta we can terrorize...

The good thing about being so close to home for tonight's event is I get to post 1st. Let's see if any of you can outdo my daughter. As we were pulling out of the parking spot at Chicago's, she says "Geez dad, hope you aren't dragging anything this time, like toilet paper." She is a Gashole in the making Good time, and glad seating and dinner was fairly quick.

Number two here - TC you drive too fast It was a fun night - we just need more driving time. TC you need to check out the puppy I have. The breeder said it was from the west coast.

They have legislated laws in California on proper breeding procedures--see how well they did? Did you pay the $500 California dog tax on him, does he meet California emissions, is he a liberal, and will he be able to get a driver's license if Governor Davis does not get recalled? Oh, and, like, like you know, is he hip dude?

Randy. I have it in soft copy that cows are now on the menu.

Regarding tonight...It get's worse, you guys would not have noticed the 3 packets of Alex's hole punches on the roof of my Mustang before we left. Did you see where they fell off??
