Default 1st Annual Onion Ring Rally 9/26

The Alpharetta Rotary Club is hosting the 1st Annual Onion Ring Rally Cruie-In Friday 9/26 at the Alpharetta Varsity from 7:00p - 9:30p, with live music.

...looks like Randy had the right idea, just the wrong Varsity... well, and the wrong weekend....but I digress...

Anyone up for it?

Bob & Valerie, bring your new SPF.

Onion rings! Mmmmmmm! Clyde, I'm surprised no one is biting on this one. I would, but I have two problems. First, I committed to meet some buddies in Talladega for the race this weekend (meeting on Saturday, race on Sunday). And you know the second reason.

Well last time we didn't make it past TC's house. Do you think we can drive that far?

Chill,

We are looking forward to going to the Varsity in Alpharetta Friday night to see all the great cars and meet their owners. We hope to see other local Cobras there.

Good to hear from you Bob, see you there.

Dave, last time was fun, but definitely not many miles logged...maybe meet at Varsity, hang out for awhile then we should still have enough daylight for a run up to Buford Dam???

p.s. Randy, I can't wait to see your definition of dirty, but we may have yet another competition between us... the dirtiest Cobra wins an order of Onion rings...

Let's hope for a good turnout

Ok, Where's this Varsity?

Is it the one behind the BP station on Haines Bridge Rd, not far from the mall? I saw the building, but did not know it was open yet.

I just may make a showing......nothing like greasy food and fast cars.

Sorry I did not make the Riverstone event---I came home around 3:00 thinking I would load up and go, but some contractors were at the house, and definitely needed close supervision.

Charlie, did you get my email????????? Sent it via CC. You must have changed all your email addresses.

Yes, it's the Varsity just on "our" side of 400.

TC:
If you sent it to the AOL address, then I did not get it---my new email is wilcherc@bellsouth.net, although I did make the update in CC.

Guys, I'll try to make it. Are you meeting somewhere else first and then ridding in together or are we just meeting at the Varsity around 7:00.

I am saddened to admit I got Bowtie envy tonight. If you were there, you know. We hung out for the owner to finish his 8th chili dog, but it was a treat. Man o man. What a car!!! This one needs investigating . WHAT A CAR!!!

Agree 100%. What a car. My son took a couple of pictures of the car and the engine bay.

As soon as I figure out how to get the pictures out of the newly aquired digital camera, I'll post them.
