Default Birmingham Track

I'm usually behind on this kind of stuff, but one of my employees was just out at the Barber Motorsport park in Birmingham and said it is absolutely amazing. He brought back a race day book that has lots of pictures and it's really pretty impressive. I guess it's mostly motorcycle and Porsche Driving Experience.

Jason,
Several of us ran there in July with World Carz. The only way to describe it is that it's like the Augusta National of road courses. I ran a one hour enduro in my P car and had a blast. Can't wait to go back with better brakes next time. The museum wasn't open yet but it will probably be worth the trip just to go thru it.

Barber held the AMA Motorcycle races this past weekend which are the final pro event for the year. My understanding is they may do some Porsche schools and then the track shuts down for re-paving (5 months or so). The museum just opened on 9/8.

Tony, Only about 500 miles, but it runs strong. BP says to go 1,000 before cutting loose. Still having fun with my holley. Demon carb is looking better all the time. Oh yeah, my aviad has sprung a leak in one of the bottom welds...... so I have to put on a new one. It's leaking like a 427 big block now.
