re:thoughts for the atl crowd...
While I appreciate everyone's opinion in the general forum I think the political diatribe's in the general forum are getting quite old. Sheesh - if I wanted to hear sniveling and jeers about Rush (semi/quasi fan here (awaiting flames ) I'd listen to my co-workers. I lurk here more than I post-seems that I need 'post' to get a voice. Seems that many have much time and nothing constructive to say...enough's 'nuff (for my taste).--->sorry for the vent, had to get it off my chest.
On another note, TC, been following your build on gasholes...how bout some pics? I live vicariously through
others as I am sans Cobra.

one more thing....
Anybody going to Petit this weekend? I plan to be at turn 10, over the bridge. It would be pretty sweet to see a convoy of
Cobras and park near the Corvette Corral. I'm certain there would be more gawkers at the Cobras. I will be on hand with copious amounts of beverage. Plan on camping Friday night for the party.

Wahoo are you going to join us in Commerce on Nov 7th ? No talk just smoking tires, loud exhaust and lots of smiles.

Wahoo, I worked parking last year at the Petite and tried to this year (you get a free SuperPass if you work as a volunteer---I'm cheap---plus if you work parking and get there at 7AM, you get a really really good parking spot and can bring stuff like pit bikes in for free---again, I'm cheap ). I may watch it on TV this year a bit as I finish out most of what I can on my car. If I took pics right now, they would not be pretty. The interior is pretty well torn apart for engine install, and I have 5 months of sweat drippings that have made their mark in the aluminum. Until I can get the car outside where I can sand it and put it all together, it's not a pretty site. I WILL take pics when it is more presentable. Check out my gallery on gasholes for some stuff you may have missed.

Wahoo, also, not sure how much you have seen here but for pics, check out STG's, computerworks's, jim maxwell's, and there is another one that is slipping my mind for some REALLY great galleries that have preserved the past. I'm bummed out because there really is another great one out there that I actually thanked hom for it, but I can't remember his username. Plus Jamo's and TURK's here and at the other site have lot's of "the experience" photos.

re:Nov. 7th
GS,
I hope to make it out Commerce if I am in town. TC, look forward to the finished product. What are the chances you'll be running by the 7th? Any other takers on the Petit? I love to hear the Panoz and Vette's run. Nothing like American thunder next to the shrill of the prancing horses.

Petit LeMans...we'll be there
I have a small group of the usual suspects meeting at the Turn 6 area as we do each year. I think I will recognize you from the First Redeemer show, but look for the blue QuikShade and I plan to have the Cobra there.
If its as windy as it is right now, just look for the car, the QuikShade may have flown to Commerce...

Chill if you need some weights I have a large supply that I took off of the wheels and tires you sold me. Who balanced those things - Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles ?
