What's up for the weekend?
OK, now I have my car back and the weather looks great. Anyone planning anything? I see there is an early afternoon car show in Conyers on Saturday on one in Dawsonville on Sunday.

After a good hard ride.....oil pressure is over 50, temp is below 190, she idles and no new dents. LIFE IS GOOD!

Tony I'd join you for a drive but I lost another front seal. Lewis thinks it might have a burr or something on the harmonic damper. Goning get it down to him soon - should I do a bigger stroker while it's being tended to.

Saturday I'am taking the "other british car" up to a place in Woodstock to get it back on the road after about an 8 year siesta. Hope I haven't messed it up too much. I wouldn't run when I put it in the barn when hot and I couldn't figuer out the problem. Ofcourse I really didn't try hard. Well feeling that I was about to totally neglect it now that I have the SPF I figuered the carbs needed work so as I was taking them off noticed the choke on the rear carb stuck half on. Jees!! simple problem after all. Well after 8 yrs they really needed work so off to the roadster factery they went. Came back looking brand new. Well i finally decided to let some one else fix this so Im trailering it up to this guy who does total restorations. Not that my old TR6 needs a total. Had the car new since 76 its got about 50,000 and for the most part been garaged. Anyway making a long story short I think Ill be tied up sat as I have to go get his trailer come back for the six return with it ......pheew already worn out. If i get back early i may take the SPf over to 5 seasons for late lunch and a brew if anybody is around. Sunday who knows at this point... car show sounds fun if its not a big hike. This time of year there is ussually some decent talent running around Frankies next door to the 5 seasons that like hot cars. Not that I would succumb mind you but its fun to have them suggest they need a ride. Anyway we need to do a real ACC get together after y'all get your beasts rolling. I need to get miy SPF down to Bill for an 'annual' but he hes too busy with some other projects (where those come from) TC still taking car of my punches???  may need them soon for another project another buddy has.
Anyway lets get another get together going that gives our ACC its noteriety!!!

If anybody has free time Sat I could use a chase vehicle and ride back from Southern. I am trying to get the car down so I can have it ready for the 7th. My travel schedule next week is such that I won't be back in town until Wed or possibly Thurs so that puts a crimp in getting it down next week. Any volunters, I by lunch

Randy, I will call and see if my tranny is ready. I have some pieces that need to go down there if you don't mind me giving them to you if I can't go. Little stuff. I may be able to do this however regardless.

TC no problem. If I can find somebody to follow and bring me back we can take whatever will fit. Tough to plan something like this on short notice - I was out of town and got in late last night - and trying to get my ass in gear this morning. I was going to try doing it today but I have to go to pick up Eric and take him to Commerce to pick up the truck he wrecked three weeks ago.
