Nice gathering today, it was good to see the regulars and meet some new ones. We need to do this more often.

On the way home I saw a black Cobra within a mile of Dreamland, we need to figure out how to get in touch with those that don't know about our little group.

Where are the pictures ?

See you guys Friday.

Randy

Thumbs up

Indeed. Good group and perfect weather!

Did anyone go check on TC?

p.s. Randy, before you go drag racing, you might want to vacuum about 20lbs of dust out of your trunk!

Great turn-out

Who would guess that it would actually be warm (probably 85 degrees on Nov 2nd in ATL).

Met some new folks, and got some additional pressure (Cracker)to post at Commerce Drag Strip this coming Friday night.....

Looks like I'd better that get that timing advance tweeked, so at least I can shift smoothly at 3500-4000 RPM going down the 1/4 mile.RPM

btw, I'm bringing a motorcycle helmet---hope it passes????

Sorry I missed this. I started smoking Ribs this morning so BBQ for lunch was a little overkill (wife's idea yesterday to cook the ribs ), had to drain and refill my hottub as the painters let about 10lbs of leaves fall into it and the water looked like tea. Yes, I did cut some practice holes. Also returned the tranny plug to the gent that let me borrow it. Alex, I do return stuff, I promise, chill, that Weber manual is in my KMP along with 30 lbs of dust . Was Alex there BTW? Glad y'all had fun. Did you guys drive anywhere?

and I finally found the one of our fearless leader (TC) on the Cushman from the Helen trip - it was a hot day, so don't think badly of him.

TC hasn't been that thin in his life

I was looking for a nickle that Chill dropped. I will add it to my wax purchase fund. I now have a nickle in it

That was really great. There are at least five or six Cobras that I know about who don't post or maybe even visit the forum. There must be another way to get the word out. I went by Sears, bought a jack and stands and then off to Pep Boys for a set of gaskets, blue silicon and a case of oil. Went home, dropped the pan and wouldn't you know it, the loaner pan has a slightly different hole pattern. I made an absolute mess of my garage floor with oil everywhere. Now I remember why I pay others to do this stuff.

I took pictures but from the same place as JO and without the expertise (my camera didn't cost more than my engine JO). I had a great time and enjoyed meeting some new folks ( Bob, Chuck & wife) as well as pressuring BigEasy into our collective Friday venture.
Special thanks to Tony R. and Joel for demonstrating what SB's can do!

Randy and Cracker, do you two have a tough time backing into parking spots?

J.O. and Randy, you would not believe how tough it was for me to wake up Ned Devine Great turn out and a fabulous day.

TC these cars go backwards (too, to, two,). Tony you forgot to buy (by, bye) kitty litter with the oil purchase ? You will learn that a quart of oil in the can equals 3 on the floor.

Great seeing everyone again and the weather could not have been better.

Did have some trouble getting home . The car stalled three times .

Felt like it had run out of gas, vapor locked. Fired right up after a couple of tries with the fuel pump running.

I better get this worked out before Friday
