Default A Cobra in its natural setting is a beautiful thing!

What a day. Hector and I met up at the Buford Depot as planned, he with his son and me with my neighbor. We rifled up to Dillard for a meal fitting of a Viking victory feast and proceeded to return via a bunch of North Georgia mountain roads. I must say that the "high school kid" in me showed itself a bit too often. But I think I can say that my new engine is broken in now. The weather was beyond beautiful and to a large extent, the roads were clear (at least nothing we couldn't pass at Mach 3). The only disaster of the day was the crotch rocket mishap we passed somewhere north of Cleveland. A lot of blue lights and a bike laying in a puddle of fluids. No driver to be seen. In any event, a great way to wave the beautiful weather bye bye.

Yes indeed, the weather and the roads were fantastic.

Unfortunately, as you know, it took me forever to get home with that clouged fuel line .

It got really bad as we got closer and closer to I-85. Talk about frustation. We finally had to stop for gas becouse of all the stall / start /run bad / stall again / start ...

Get this, I fill up and decide to not put the gas cap back. The car runs fine .

But nevertheless, what's the phone number for the Barry Grant shop. I am still going ahead with a complete replacement of pump, line, filter and regulator.

Hector, the number is 706 864-8544. If you go to barrygrant.com, you can see all you can stand regarding his carbs. That was a great ride today. I hope we can do it again before too long.

Sorry I missed the trip, sounds like it was fun and the weather was indeed perfect. I spent the day catching up on yard work and with Holiday pre-prep...
