re:Barrett Jackson
Anybody hitting Barrett Jackson? The wife and I are heading out to the desert for the festivities. You can usually find me at the SAI booth generally slobbering over everything. Can't wait--->a great way to escape the cold and start the year off.

WaHoo..
After the show on Saturday. Get directions to the pavillions car show. You might see many members of the Arizona Cobras gathered there.

My car, CSX4266 will be in the SAI display during the event. Stop by and say "Hello". Like Mike C. said, plan on seeing the car show at the Pavillions Saturday night. I would think that most of the Arizona Cobra members will be there with their cars. You won't want to miss it!!!

Clyde - How can you win if I'm gonna win? That's about the only chance I have of making it to the BJA.
Spotter - You need to post more often.

Barrett-Jackson inventory
Currently there appears to be 5 Shelby CSX 4000 continuation cars and one other replica of undisclosed make, and a host of Shelby Mustangs consigned for sale in January. There is a Red 427 that was the #1 Phantom 80th Birthday Cobra at last years event according to Barrett-Jackson.

current listings
all look to be continuation cars. If precedent holds true these *gulp* insert flame here ...may go for less than market...course, what do i know?!!? I will say that the stated 'orginal' cobra that went last year went low and the two guys who brought it, bought it back. For those going, I anticipate there to be some 'deals' in so far as auctions go--all depends on how much alcohol is flowing and who wants to be the big, swinging johnson of the day. Saw a 'skunk', 427/435 Vette that was beautiful, but without matching numbers go for a staggering, I believe it was..110k. All about presentation I suppose---and it wasn't even a Bloomington Gold-->yea, yea--->insert gratuitous Chevy comments here__________ I'm interested in what the Shelby KR will go for? Anyone have any swags on that one? Guessing 87.5 (pure swag here).
