First cruise of 2004
I was just talking to Mr. Crace and the possibility of an end of week cruise came up. It appears that our good fortune of 60+ degree highs will be holding through the week. Any takers?

Looks like Friday is the day. No rain and mid 60s for the high.

Saturday would be better ... too much traffic to deal with on Fridays afternoons ... when it's most likely going to be the nicest part of the day for crusing. I actually have the weekend off!!! Seems hard to believe that I might be able to make a get-together.

I'm interested as long as it's not to far north of I-285. Checking the weather it looks like Saturday is going to be nice, possible low 70's.

Dormant How about recovering from two weeks off, working on the car, football, Christmas, New Years, football, out of town family, did I mention football.
Friday is yard day here while my son is home from school. Feel free to drop in and watch the shreader work. If we finish early we may go for a short (50 mile) ride.

Come on guys, someone pick a place and time to meet ? I haven't had my car out but twice in the last 5 or 6 months. I need to shake the engine down and make sure it's right again.

I haven't been down here in GA long enough to pick a meeting place and know a roadway for cruising.
And, I spent the last 2 weeks working. Christmas and New Years! Time to enjoy a sunny day!

Guys,
I'd like to go if its Saturday and IF I can get my starter gear back on. I started the "Big Block" the other day and the starter gear came off. Its one of the geared drive types made for a small block Chevy but (with a little help) fits Buicks also.
Anyway, I'm going to see what I can do with it tomorrow.
Regards,
Bob

I'm actually working today. Trying to get a jump on my competition while they sleep. Tomorrow might work though.

Saturday would be better for me, I decided to do some 'winter' maintenance and am planning on finishing that up today.

WAIT A MINUTE! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE ATLANTA DRAG EXPO THIS WEEKEND! I spend a few hours today and last night detailing the gas gulper. It just occured to me that the drag event is here. Any one else interested in going? I 85 south to exit 72 (across from the airport. By the looks of the sky today, it's hard to believe that rain is out of the question.

...yeah, right and I'm the waxer??? I spent a few hours on the car today, but most were either tightening, greasing, or driving. Car is ready, and I'd rather take a ride than do a car show on a nice January day.
Anyone still want to try to take a ride? Lunch in Dahlonega?
