Smile New FFR Cobra pr Daytona Coupe Questions

Hi,

I am looking to build a replica Cobra or Daytona Coupe. I have been researching FFRs. The only problem that I am currently having is that I am trying to figure out how the registration process works with these cars. I live in the Marietta, GA area and want to register the car as a 65' model to enable me to put a carb. "Big Block" or 351 in the car without the emissions headache. Is there any special things I need to know when ordering or preparing the car that can help during registration ? Also, what is the general consensus about FFR ? Do they make a quality kit ? I would like to talk with someone about this or see a completed FFR if anyone has one I can see.

Thanks,
Todd Daniell

yeah - best bet is to go to ffcobra.com - if you want to see one local, you're more than welcome to meet up with me somewhere on the next weekend I have off .. and it's warm.

As for registering it. It comes with a MSO showing it as a "65". You can register it just as it's started on the MSO. The problems occur when you buy one from someone who registered it in the year it was completed. Once that's done .. I've never heard of you getting it reversed without some "manipulation" of the circumstances.
