Default Get together? Sat-Feb 28th?

I was looking at the weather outlook for the 10 days .. and it's looking like Spring is coming early - I'm not complaining. Does anyone want to plan a cruise/get together for the weekend of the 28th? As it stands .. temps in the mid 50s .. no rain. Of course, that could all change .. but anyone interested?

Thumbs up

Absolutely...

Why don't ya'll come over Saturday and help me put my car back together with the new axles and pin drives. I should have all the parts by late next week ... even the 12oz aluminum parts necessary to complete the build

Are these the fluid-filled, thin-walled canisters with pull-out vent covers?

Yep, I will plan on Saturday (28th) hoping I have all the parts in hand this week so we have something to work on... besides 12oz Kirkhams...

Updates as the week unfolds.

Yo Bud, weather seems to be holding for Saturday. It's probably a good time to file a flight plan. Do we have any cars in the area that have:
- tires mounted / suspension installed
- engine runs for minimum 30 minute intervals
- only managable leaks
- oil consumption within OPEC guidelines

Clyde, will you be assembling Saturday, or will you be streetworthy by then?

Good one Bud.

I don't think I will driving until later Saturday assuming I get a few hours to put everything together... or one hour and a few helpers Saturday morning ... and a shipment of parts this week. I may blow off Friday and do most of the assembly, but if you want to make a road trip to my house Saturday then we can play it by ear, that works. I will pick up a few extra 12oz 'kirkhams' just in case...

So, how many cars do we have that want to do a Saturday cruise? We could meet at Clyde's house, drink his beer, strip a few bolts and let him ride ***** in one of our operational cars.

Clyde, what's the status of your car. Do you still think you'll have the parts tomorrow? Who all 's planning to participate? I've got to get my trailer to Alex at some point in time. I've got the whole day, so I'm pretty flexible.
