Default Sunday Mountain Drive - Atlanta

I have a couple friends meeting at my place around 2:00 for a two hour drive on Sunday. If interested respond here and I'll get you directions or set an alternative meeting place. Have a great weekend! I enjoyed chewing the fat with everyone at Riverstone today - now lets drive our cars!!!

Tony,

Good to see you and your young friend there today. It look as though he was having a good time. I know my girls did as well.

Nice to meet Ed, John, Charles, the other Tony and Chuck and his wife as well. Somone rolled in with a nice Blue Cobra as I was leaving, not sure who it was but the car looked great.

Unfortunately we have an open house tomorrow and will be prepping most of the day and then have to get out for the real estate folks to take over.

Have Fun...

First of all, JO - JH and I missed your presence - it would've been great! The weather was 81 and blue skies - the kind of Cobra weather you dream about or at least I do. We drove up through Jasper and wound our way back through the hill country for a much needed stretching of the Cobra's legs/wheels. Being a good Cobra owner I even left the "calling" mark etched in the asphalt via a couple of long black thick tread marks on some old slow country road - I wish others could have joined us, maybe next time! Have a great week all.

Cracker - glad you got out and marked your territory I stayed at Scotts house proding him to finish his car sometime this decade He is getting close. He should fire it up in the next two weeks.

Sorry to miss a nice run.

GS,
I was doing some prodding Keith as well... He's getting close to done too, but the wife's basket party ran him out of his house/garage Sunday so not much got done this weekend.

of course then I finished up the weekend bytaking a swan dive off the back of my truck (accidentially) tearing up my ankle, so I'm sidelined for a few weeks....

Chill - Ouch! Been there done that (not swan dives off of pick-ups though) are you in an air cast or something? At least if you join in on a drive your TRUCK can out run our Cobra's! Get well soon! Come to think of it a nice heavy clutch and/or an unorthodox driving style might be the therepy the doctor ordered.
