Default HELP!BAD ROD KNOCK INS Stock 302

developed in the coupe this am on the way to a car show. What should I replace when I tear the engine down to make a good reliable small block on a budget (working on 4 car and 2 boat projects at this time-this was not budgeted for!)

Shoiud I add a mild cam and do some head work wor a little boost?

Who should I use for the engine work" Southern Automotive?

All suggestions/opinons apprecuated. cb

You got a lot going on it sounds like. SO,, why not just do the minimum to your engine for now? Like if the crank and rod aren't damaged maybe you can just put in some bearings on the bottom end and let it go? Won't have to pull the heads, pistons, etc that way. Later do the whole thing, heads, cam all that.

Guess it depends on how bad a rod knock your talking about.
