Default Free car show (food included) today.

There's a car show in Hampton today near the Atlanta Motor Speedway until 3:00 this afternoon. Bill and Susan Parham will be there with Bill's new suicide machine. Entry is free and they're cooking dogs and such also free. It's a bit of a haul, but what the hey! Anyone with some free time today, come on down. The last time I attended a car show with Bill was about 150 HP ago when Bill said "when are you going to quit squatting around and put a real motor in that car"? The rest is history. COME ON DOWN!

Tony, it's actually across the hwy from AMS, at Russells Automotive. He has this every year. Turn left at the light about one block on the left.

Bud, I wish you could have made it. I didn't know anything about it until Bill asked me to join he, Susan and John. It was pretty hot out today, but there was plenty of shade, dogs, burgers and so on. There were around 60 cars in attendance. Bill has his "Falcon from Hell" there. He's pushing 600+ barely streetable HP and a toploader. Bruce put the gloss black finish on it and the interior is done in a plush fabric (I don't know how to spell Corderoy). It looks brand new inside and out. He dropped in a Windsor punched out to 434 cubes. He made me go for a ride with him yesterday near the shop. Holy crap! When we were cruising up the road, he looked at me and said "I'm not going to do anything crazy", then commenced to break the sound barrier. Everybody we got behind had a tendency to stare in the rear view mirror looking very nervous. It was a fun day. Wish some of you hosers could have made it.

I sure would have been there. I went for a ride today and got caught in a serious 'rush hour' type traffic-jam on Cobb Pwy because of the Air Show at AF Base. Talk about misery - I think my scalp is burnt.

One thing for sure, I'm not scared of the car ever overheating now.

Even if I had known I couldn't have made it - major remodel on the house this week. Freaking stray cat got in one of my walls - 15 holes - kitchen cabinets off the wall - refrig out and another hole - no cat - tearout the stairs - find that stinking thing - yee gods what a mess. Should finish up the sheetrock repair today. If I see another cat I will kill it without mercy - even if it's in your house

Tony I think Bill's Falcon motor is a Cleveland.

REALLY?!?! - I don't have a clue. Maybe that's who toplesshorse was talking about the other day. Dave Crace lives in the area - but his is blue like mine. Klevin's (out my way) is Guardsmans Blue ... T-bone's ERA is white.

I'll have to keep an eye out for this new one ...
