Although this is my third season with my cobra I am finally starting to get my social life back. I have been up to my eyeballs in work, home renovations, other hobbies, and getting my cobra back on the road. Last year I made a couple of car shows and met a few of you. I recently spoke with Chill and Cracker regarding this forum. I was only spending time in "parts for sale" & "small block talk"
However, they both mentioned you get together every 3 weeks. This is my attempt to get some conversation going.
There is as small group of hot roders that get together every sat, via no rain, at Dandy Donuts in Chamblee NE inside of 285. Look under Donut Derelicts on the web for directions.
Cracker also mentioned someone organizes a cobra event at the drag strip in Commerce. Are you doing this again, if so when.
Look forward to meeting some of you.

Hey David, Welcome to the ACCobra.
When I flew into Dekalb-P-tree today, I thought about Donut Derelicts again and the fact the we need to get there for a Saturday AM meeting now that the morning hours are getting warm (and the afternoons wil be getting hot!). BTW: I didn't do it this past Saturday since you didn't think you would make it.
When we talked, you mentioned you are close to Dandy Donuts, are you off Shallowford Rd?

I might be but I'd be driving a "sold" cobra so I'll be taken it easy. What time does everyone meet?
Regarding welcoming you, I guess, with three seasons under your belt you should be welcoming me.  Nice talking with you the other day and we'll maybe see you Sat. AM.

From the NE Side of the permiter at 285 and Peachtree Indust. Blvd. Head inside the permiter south/west on PIB until Chamblee Dunwoody road about the fifth light.
Turn right or north on Chamblee/Dunwoody road go up about 1/2 mile in right acroos from High School |
