Default Riverstone this weekend???

Anyone planning on heading up to the cruise in? I know SVOBud is off and thinking about it...

Side note, anyone see the new 514 crate engine in Hot Rod this month...800 Hp for about 9K, sweet!

It's not this weekend. Riverstone is on the 3rd weekend and yes, I'll be there!!! And, I'm stopping by your house on the way - knocking the landscaping equipt from your hands and forcing you into your car!

If you want to do a "cruise in", the one in Villa Rica is this Sat .. downtown near the R/R Tracks. From 4pm til 9pm.

You can tell when the weather sucks around here - no one has much to say.

So - anyone planning on Riverstone THIS weekend (Saturday June 19th from 4pm to 9pm)? Matt, put down the rake on Saturday and back away slowly .. towards the Cobra.

I-575 N.
Exit 20 (Riverstone Pwy).
Turn left and cross back over I-575
Riverstone Mall is on the right - short distance from the Interstate.

I won't be making it to Riverstone, but I may go by the Year One show in Braselton. If any of you guys see any '69 Firebird convertibles, Superbirds, or '69 Camaro convertibles for sale, how about getting me a phone #.

Thanks, Jim

Well - Me and Mzhun went. Only other Cobra owner was Bob with his Superformance. I don't remember his screen name (SP-something), but he said he rarely posts much on here (just reads mostly).

Me and Mzhun decided to get together for a late evening cruise on Sunday. I just happened to remember the camera. Nice ride. Could have been a wee bit nicer if the "Sunday Drivers" we're out in force - slowing things down. Here's a couple of pics - us taking a break on the roadside. Matt's B&B in gray - my FFR in blue.

Saw your cars parked up there next to each other, but unfortunatly didnt run into either of you. It was a nice show, lots of cars and i'll go again.

Great pics Bud, and thanks for the quart of oil. I still can't believe how fast you car is, or how slow mine is depending on how you look at it. I am definately putting a higher gear in it when I narrow the rear end. Bud, I can't believe you didn't mention the PSYCHO that was behind me hanging out of the sunroof going berserk over the cars. I thought for sure she was going to fall out.
Anyone want to buy those wheels and tires for their Mustang build...they gotta go!

They're both taken at the same place, just two different angles. And yeah, it's a BBQ place out in the middle of nowhere - seriously - probably at least 15 miles from anything I would consider a major hwy - maybe further than that to the nearest town. I would assume it must be pretty good bbq - otherwise - it should have gone out of business by now if it wasn't drawing the customers ... it was closed by the time we stopped by on our drive. The green building is something like "Curly Sue's Hair Design". We're talking 'backwoods' here ..
