Sorry about your adventure but considering it was you I found it quite funny! Your getting weak on us - one big rain shower and it's got you looking at the sky. What would Hal Copple think? Wussy?

It looks like today is going to be beautiful. NO chance of rain. Is there any place besides Canton everyone would like to meet? What about a Dreamland BBQ shot for a late lunch? Maybe a few extra folks would come on out if it weren't too great a hassle. I'm fueled up and ready to go.

I need to test out my clutch and make sure it's slipping like I think it is. Southern just got a good deal on a shipment of Ram clutches and I have my name on the list for a transplant.

Define late lunch. I would be up for that as well say 1:00 - 1:30?

Dreamland- 1:00. Sound good? Randy, mine only seems to break loose in high gear. Southern just puts too much torque in their engine configurations. We need to talk to Bill about that.

I'll be at Dreamland between 1:00-1:15 for a gathering. I'll even say grace before we eat! It looks like a terrific day!

Well, for the FEW of us that showed up (Toy Collector, GA Snake, Cracker and myself "little red riding hood", it was fun as usual. We solved many of the worlds problems, at least as it pertains to the engine building and auto racing industries. Some idiot kid with his girlfriend challenged me to a race from a stop light in the crowded area around Mall of Georgia. A late model pickup with all of this body moulding all over it. As bad as I wanted to dust his butt, I showed adult-oriented restraint and sure enough, a Gwinnett County cruiser was right around the corner.

Well - that Sonic idea was a flop. Tony - where did you get the idea they were having a cruise in today?

I did have a nice meal at Williamson Bros BBQ ...

Bud, Tony has this thing about starting a thread and then going someplace else - he is slick

We need to plan a future event and have at least 20 cars.

We can meet at my house and I'll cook something on the grill either before a ride or after.

Randy

Randy - now that sounds like a plan to me. I just hope you guys plan it on a weekend I'm not working (I work every other 3 day weekend and vice versa).

Oh no, not the spand-x brigade! Anything but that! Bud, I called the number for the car show last night and he told me it was on and what the hours were. We need to find him and kill him. I hope you got a nice cruise out of it anyway.

Now that this thread has completely jumped the track.... I think we need to look out a few weeks and set a date to do a larger gathering of the ACC. The impromptu gatherings are fun, but it looks like we need more advance notice to get a large group with everyone's schedules this year.

I will offer up my cul-de-sac for alot of easy parking and my new backyard/porch area for access to food etc... I am also located somewhat on the way to Canton if we want to combine a luncheon/cookout with a Riverstone cruise caravan. Alot of Cobras in the cul-de-sac would make a good photo-op from the top of my hill too...

Is the last Canton/Riverstone cruise-in September? or is the last one October???

I've been dying to do a little drifting in my neighbor's yard, but I guess the cul-de-sac will have to do. Looks like the September Canton cruise date is the 18th. Does that work???
