Default Riverstone Crusie In - July 17th

Anyone up for it? I figured getting there between 4pm-5pm. If you guys want - we can meet up at the QT on sixes road.

Dont worry Matt - I'll swing by the house so you can get a Kitchen Pass.

I may be up for it. I'm getting ready to head over to the USA Classic Diner cruise in - Lilburn. The ride's too clean to leave in the garage.

Riverstone cruise sounds OK but we need to meet at the QT at 4PM or it gets too busy to park very many cars together.

I ran into several local Cobra guys at the cruise in last night and invited them all to the Riverstone event. We'll see. We haven't had a good crowd together in quite a while. "LET'S DO IT", he exclaimed while gazing across a cloudless sky!

ok - Sixes Rd, which is exit 11 on I-575. Turn right (if you were heading North on 575) and head down to the QT. Meet there at 4pm. Don't be late - we ain't hanging out there long.

If you miss us, the Riverstone Cruise in is located at the Riverstone Mall - exit 20 on I-575 ... turn left, Mall is approx 1/2 mi down on the right. It's free and parking is open to anyone in a Hot Rod.

Hey why not meet at the Hooters there at the Riverstone Exit. Instead of making a left to go to the car show. Make a right and less than 1/2 mile on the right is Hooters. Have lunch about 3:00 and leave for the show at 4:00 to get some good parking. Maybe a good photo opportunity...

Weather's looking good so far for Saturday. Any of you Lawrenceville and Lilburn guys up for a caravan to Canton? Chill, you up for it? I'll take the usual scenic route up RT 20 through Buford and Cumming up to I 575 to the show. Some of you closet weenies need to get out and exercise those ponies!

Incidentally, I did a hard shift into third at a little over 80 MPH Saturday and the back wheels started spinning. Is that normal?

I'll be in France cheering Lance Armstrong on to his 6th Tour win and reminding those commie bed wetting liberals why they don't speak German.

That was it. The entrance ramp must be particularly slick. I could feel it break loose when I hit 3rd. The last time I hit I85 from Indian Trail, I accelerated fairly quickly, jumped into the fast lane and saw Gwinnett County in my rear view mirror. He just cruised past me in the HOV lane, but I still skipped a couple of heartbeats. You going to Riverside Saturday?

Yes I am planning on attending. I will also probably set something up for the 24th at Dandy Donuts. I am looking forward to meeting some more cobra folks.

Anyone have the number for the Johnex cobra that goes by Just a 6

DavidH,
I am in for meeting you at the Hooters at 3:00 any other takers????

I'm coming over across RTE 140, so I'll try to find you guys there - but don't stone me for leaving the Cobra home and bringing a TVR. Just got it and it needs a little exercise.

TommyC,
Awhile back in either 5.0 or MM&FF ther was a guy with a bad a$$ yellow mustang he lived in Adairsville. It was a 90 ish coupe with a new forced induction 04 cobra engine. Do you know of it? Do you know how to get ahold of him? Do you know if he is going to Riverstone?

Maybe........there's a fellow in town (Orlando Wilson - if you've ever been into bass fishing, you know who Orlando is) whose son has evidently built some pretty awesome Mustangs, at least one of which was in a magazine. So that's probably who it is. Orlando's home phone is unlisted and I'm not sure the son even lives with him, but Orlando's office is just down the street, so I can get his business number without too much effort.

Tony,

Looks like the cobra going to be in the shop till middle of next week. The rack and pinion is totaly fried and we couldn't find anything polished localy so I order one. This really sucks!!! Im going to try and come anyway but getting a kitchin pass without the cobra will be tuff. Hope to see everyone sat.

I'm in! TC - come steal the show and promote re-cylcing with that aluminum car of yours!!! It's about time you show your face at one of our gatherings. Besides, this seems more your speed - sitting still - your car that is!
