Question Good fiberglass repair & paint shop?

Anyone have a recommendation for a good repair shop where I can get fiberglass and paint work done? I lost a fight with a concrete parking stop and need to get it fixed. Here's a pic of the resulting damage

ERA sent me to Cobra Restorers in Kennesaw but I understand that repair and paint are not their forte.
Thanks!
Scott

Bruce Bun at Jodeco has gained quite a reputation in the Atlanta area for Cobra cosmetic surgery, augmentation and enhancements.

Try this one. It's in New Orleans and Doug Reed the Superformance dealer runs it. I've seen some of his repair work and it is great. Plus they know about Cobra bodies.

Tony,
Sounds like I should drop off my wife with the car as well

I'll check them out. I'd like to stay in the Atlanta area for this job, but spending a few days in the Big Easy also has its attractions as well!!

Anyone else with direct experience with someone in the Atlanta metro area?
Thanks!
Scott

Scott, are you coming to the car show at the Lotus dealer up in your neck of the woods this Saturday?

Weirhouse,

Chuck at Cobra Restorers actually has (maybe by now had) ties to via one of the best glass prep workers in Atlanta via his own body people (fiancee of one of his painters). Contact me via PM for the scoop and to see the work. I hope she's still around.

Thumbs up Flashback Motor Works

Went to Flashback today. Very nice bunch of folks and what a great collection of consignment cars for sale, and cars being worked on. Everything from Rolls Royce, old Fords, lots of Ferraris, several mustangs, a lot of Austin Healeys, and other stuff. Richard said they have a lot of events up there under their roof (very large garage - probably over 50 cars under the roof and still not crowded). Suggested he host a Cobra event some time, or at least make sure we get the invite posted here.

Waiting for the quote on the repair, but seems like they will do a very thourough job!

Missed your TR6 in the crowd I guess - it may have been under plastic. Still waiting on a quote from Richard - he said his accounting software crashed and that's what he uses for quotes. Got a quote from Jodeco that seemed pretty good, so am interested to see where Richard comes in. Lots of cool cars there for sure!

Scott,
I was just wondering if you got the quotes and picked a shop. How did it all turn out?

I've got to have some body work done to mine and am looking for a good shop.

Thanks!

My daughter trashed a rear bumper on her new RSX (plastic) and I took it to Awesome Fiberglass in Lawrenceville. Great folks and they did an excellent job for less than half of the cost of bumper replacement. Also, there was a Lamborghini in the shop getting bodywork/paint done. They've worked on a number of local Cobras. I highly recommend them if you need a Lawrenceville-area shop.

Default Jodeco Auto Body

I asked for quotes from Awesome (Tony's referral), Cobra Restorers in Kennesaw, Flashback Auto, and Jodeco Autobody (referral from the Parham's at Southern Automotive). Didn't ever get a response from Awesome, Flashback was going to be pretty expensive (but it was an impressive facility that's worth visiting just to see the other stuff they're working on.) and Cobra Restorers aren't really focused on body and paint. Bruce at Jodeco Auto Body gave me a good quote and they do a lot of work on Cobra Replicas. I'm going to probably take it in to them sometime first part of the year. Bruce's contact is: Bruce Bunn
(770) 954-1855. If you find any other places that you think are good, please post it here.
Thanks!
Scott
