Ceramic coating near Atlanta?

Can anyone recommend a company near Atlanta to ceramic coat my side pipes?

Tommy,
I had my headers coated at Performance Coatings. Good outfit. Sprayed inside and out. Business Vitals

Tommy,
I will second AlphaCobra on performance coatings. They did a good job on my sidepipes a few years back.

I think Performance Coatings is who plated my oil pan and timing cover. Pretty impressive facility.

I think it's about time we take a poll of the number of Cobras in the Atlanta areas. I get the feeling that the number is significant.

Another source is Miller's Powder Coating in Lawrenceville. They also "Ceramic" coat parts and did my headers. Ask for Billy Jr.

You can also try Flashback Motorworks in cumming they did the exhaust on my TR6. Just make sure they know the color you want

I just used Evans Performance Products in Cumming off exit #13;770-888-8081. Dan and Lynda. They are also associated with Flashback Motorworks. If you'd like to check out their work on my stuff you're welcome to. I had a set of headers, j-pipes and side exhaust done for an FFR Spec car I'm assembling. Tell them I sent you. I told them I'd try to spread the word a little. If you'd like to come by call my cell for directions:705-974-9244

Is this process like the one Jett-Hot uses? If its the same type I would like to support the local guys and I wouldnt have to worry about them getting dented or dinged in shipping. Is the cost about the same also and is it the ceramic process?

Yes I had my parts ceramic coated and they came out very nice. They are the silver color but there are other color choices available also.

Another recommendation for Miller's powdercoating. They ceramic coated a set of headers, and powdercoated an intake for my CJ8.

KrAzEcJ 12-05-2004 01:38 PM

What do they charge for coating a set of side-pipes and a set of headers? Jett- Hott sent me a quote of 480$ and was wondering the price difference.

BBK347 12-06-2004 06:56 AM

I had a set of headers, j-pipes and side exhaust done for $550 ish. So it seems as though the prices are close.

KrAzEcJ 12-06-2004 07:37 AM

Thanks BBK, sounds like there close in price when you add in the 60$ shipping.

Guys,

I just got back from picking up 7 pieces I had done at the place in Cumming that Alex and BBK347 referred to. Husband, Wife, Son operation. They do it all:

Today they had two race car chassis, motorcycle frames, valve covers, intakes, etc. They do powder, ceramic, cryogenic processing, sandblasting, etc. The correct phone number is 770-888-8818. Business is called Professional Cryogenic Metallurgy & Coatings and is located at 5166 Performance Drive in Cumming. Same motorsports park as Robinson Racing and Motorworks (Porsche race shop). If I told you what I paid for 7 pieces you would not believe me, absoute deal. I am going to have them to a turbocharger housing as well, having seen one they did for Motorworks. Highly recommended, long story short.

after the did my header I had them do the whole monza (those flow thru pipes they put on english cars ) exhaust. Should keep the rust down for some extra years. Flashback also has a chrome conection in Alabama. Did my chrome on the TR6. I can only say wow!! not cheap but I dont know what others charge. It was about 1200

By the way I just got something new/old. let you all know when I can post a pic.

Also who drove by my house sunday around seven on Mt Paran road with a maroon stripless cobra????
