Atlanta Guys
Anybody for a Sat. morning / lunch ride on 2/19/05? We could swing by Bobs and eat his doughnuts then cruise around the lake.

I'm out of town at SAAC event. BTW, Marteen found some ugliness in the motor. Total teardown.

I might be up for it - if I can shake this damn sickness that's knocked me on my a$$. Car is 95% done, hope to wrap it up tomorrow and then start diagnosing all my mistakes. Much cleaner wiring now + new dash layout!

Depending on the route, if you guys can stand being in the company of a non-Ford plastic car, I may join in.

...I'll join up at 400 & McFarland. What time? There's a Shell just on the east side of 400 that's pretty easy to get in and out of.

I'm out ... have a gremlin to chase down with the rewire - namely no spark! Everything else appears to be working (gauges, engine turns over, etc), so that is good.

The Yard Dog want's to go for a walk. Minor problem - my Speedo is up in Noo Yock for repairs - probably overloaded it - can I just wear jeans - I know this violates club code for dress after the Equinox - but is it OK? What exit is McFarland - so us Southerners can plan lead time?

It's the one with the McFarland name Slow down and you can't miss it.
I can meet you at another exit if you so desire

I will sit on the side of the road - awaiting your blast past - rubber band wound tight - then hurl myself into your wake - with the hope of steering you to the promised land.

I will put the hook out for you - right now - a wonderful blend of fine wine, Vonnegut, with Buddy Holly and Edgar Winter for auditory stimulation - will finish the proposal for Shell tomorrow - a project I can be enthusiastic about.

I'm out - carb doctor appointment
Sorry, won't make it tomorrow. I'm off to the carb doctor TC recommended. Have rebuilt the whole thing and replaced the main body and throttle plate with ProForm parts. Changed the jets, mucked around, and basically screwed it up beyond my meager capabilities. So, got it going good enough to limp over to Marietta and see if this guy can work his magic!
BTW, if any of you are coffee snobs, bring your Starbucks grounds to feed Bob's coffee pot. If my trip up a couple of weeks ago is any indicator of the wind chill tomorrow, you will need LOTS of hot beverages when you arrive. BTW, note that his place is around the back of the facility and not visible from the road. Cool thing is he has lots of indoor parking. You can also do some donuts in the parking lot of the Mercedes place across the parking lot!
