Default Thanks RGINN!!!

I just wanted to say a (public) big THANK YOU to RGINN. Man, that guy is a class act!

After spending all night dealing with a search warrant, nearly shooting some shotgun rackin crackheads, and recoverying all kinds of stolen property (can ya say mucho paperwork?) - I managed about 3 hrs of sleep this morning (in bed by 9am) before I got cleaned up and headed to Road Atlanta to meet with some SVO Mustang friends who were running a track event there.

I talked the guys into visiting http://www.mcmichaelmotorsports.com before leaving. WOW - that's all anyone could say, "WOW!". Besides having a top shelf facility, Rob is one of nicest guys. Took one of my friends (who's building a FFR Coupe) out in his red Superformance Coupe. Came back and insisted on me driving his all black - freshly finished Street version Roadster. Very nice! Undercar exhaust, no rollbar, just needs to the other hood on it (without the scoop). Needless to say, SWEET DRIVING machine. If you are even considering on getting yourself a Cobra Replica - you should really stop by Rob's shop and seriously consider a Superformance (look under my name - I own a FFR). The cars are VERY well put together and the service Rob gives is top notch. You're gonna get your money-worth with this combination.

As nice as the Roadster was, that was NOTHING compared to the drive I got to experience when Rob said, "you ready to drive the Noble?" Holy Cow is that thing the purest form or a driving machine or what!??!! I'm still replaying the experience over in my head. If I only had the means - I would own that car. Wow - I mean - WOW! Can ya tell I'm having trouble putting it into words?

Rob - THANK YOU. After the past ten days of straight work with long hours - being able to slip behind the wheel of not one, but two incredible machines, stab the throttle, hug some curves, etc ... really did do me a world of good. Can't wait til the next outing once I get my FFR back in order (which will be ver shortly).

Amen!!!! Rob has helped me through many projects with advice and encouragement. A rare car guy among car guys indeed. I encourage anyone interested in a Cobra replica to go see him. He sews the seeds of automotive good will that will come back to him in the future. I WANT to spend money with this man!

Now, about those Superformance GT40 MK I's.......when?

I recently purchased Rob's prior superformance demo car, a blue SC with silver stripes, 427 roush motor. I could not agree more, what great folks. I can't imagine a better group to work with. Glad to hear he has another demo to drive, I presume they were going through withdrawal without the SC.

The northeast Georgia group is fortunate that Rob decided to locate his shop in this area. Aside from being a great spot to see some gorgeous machinery, there's always a good cup of coffee and lots of Cobra talk available.

I don't pipe in here often anymore but this one caught my eye.

I'll raise your "Rob's the man" comment - people around the south and especially GA should appreciate what kind of giving dealer Superformance and Cobra enthusiasts have in McMichaels Motorsports!

I haven't spoken to ya in awhile Rob but I ran into your wife a few months back at the powder coater. Of course, she said you were on the road heading to Florida delivering cars - I hope all is well!

Thanks guys......It's fun work and all of you make it worthwhile. If I could post pictures I would show you why we have a great location here. After Bud left along with svodoc. we had a crew from SVT Ford doing testing on 5 Ford GT's. Well they like our stuff and we sure as heck like their's!!!! So we traded rides and did some photo shots of the group. Very cool machines but the coupes sound better.

Cracker where have you been??? What are you driving?? How about a Noble??? We'll see if we can get a pushrod V-8 in it for you.

Thanks for the kudo's and remember we like all makes and models here and don't be shy about stopping in.
So anybody up for Sebring??? We have plenty of camping space available (40 ac's).

Rob

I only wish we could have stayed longer, but SVODoc had a long drive back to B'ham after he stopped by my place. We saw a red GT driving around most of the day. It kept pulling into a panoz garage right across the street from your place. Would have been a thrill to drive around in one of those TOO!!!

Doesn't matter - I'm still giddy about driving the Noble. Thanks again.

I made the trip up to McMichael today and have to echo everyone's accolades. It's a great location, great cars, and wonderful people. As far as the Noble ... all I can say is WOW! Might be worth those divorce papers.

I have met Rob a couple of times at the track and at Johan's garage party and finally got to spend some quality time with him today and I echo the above sentiments. I had reason to be up that way, so I called and stopped in. Outstanding facility run by a true gentleman with gorgeous cars. Anyone looking for a GT-350 clone also needs to know that he does a fine job creating some nice clones. I have posted before, I think after Johan's garage party that he is an asset to our hobby, and we need more like him.

After roasting in my KMP this past Sunday, and reading some stuff on the SPF Brock Coupe recently, I went up there today and Rob let me drive one. I am very impressed with how it drove and the build quality is the usual SPF excellent 10 for 10 fit and finish. I think it would make for a very nice frequent driver versus the fair weather Cobras. I actually need to see if I have 23 inches of room if I park one where the KMP is and if my truck will still fit. Hmmmm....
