ATL members: Foothill cruise?
chill posted a car show thread on 4/30 that also has a ralley tied to it. chill, any more info on that?
As a side note, we have been too dormant lately, myself included. Anyone up for a cruise on short notice if the weather turns? Maybe AM assembly, cruise to Dahlonega and lunch in Dawsonville at the greasy Pool Room?

I'm in depending on date.
Jim - All "cool" cars are welcome, there will be a vote 1/2 through when we tell all the non-cool cars to go home

I'll be at Road Atlanta for the NASA event the 19-20. If the cruise is any other day I'd like to tag along.
Say, how about everyone with a non-running car pitching in on a car carrier for the cruise?

Yes that was me...couldn't you tell? Errr, I think my car may be a little too loud for the Roswell PD's liking, especially when I am on the Mayor's street. They were going the opposite way on the dead end, luckily I was headed to my street. They slowed to a stop and I think were contemplating turning around to introduce themselves but some traffic behind me caused a delay. I was long gone after interjecting my car into a 150 foot gap in traffic. Long story short, a confrontation avoided I believe.
If Sunday looks good, I say we give it a go. Mike, just got a call about the NASA event, a bunch of Porsche 944s are running in the 944 Cup this weekend as well up there.

GS - Did you know there was a Hell in Pittsburgh, right in the middle of the airport - just like the SAV one, identical twin? Must be your moonlight job.
I plan to visit the NASA event at Road Atlanta Saturday AM, so we could go from there, or one of you leadership folks might step up and suggest a meeting place around noon. If it's Sunday, must be early as I leave for Houston in the afternoon.
TC - hope you feel guilty about missing the SA trip, bring something, even the infamous Cushman
edit: TC - this is a respectable club, please don't bring that loud trashy car with the police escort - we don't need a blue light special - unless Bud is driving

JO That one and 4 more just like it are the basis for one of my claims.
Can't make it Sat - have fun. I'll visualize TC - with a leather helmet - goggles - the Cushman - leading the snarling pack.

I'll be in downtown ATL on Saturday - running a B&W bluelight special - in the St Patty Parade on Peachtree. Might have the FFR ready later on Sunday, but it doesn't look like the weather is going to be nice.

I'm up for an outing, but can't make it this weekend. Let's try to put one together soon though, I need to get out a few more times in my loud car before it finds a new home and I am left driving my Mule!
TC, I think the rally starts the morning of the show, runs up into the mountains then ends up at the show.

My car will be back at the house and ready for a ride on Sunday. Thinkin I might have to spend the rest of the day exercising my right foot.

I had planned on Sunday actually. GS and chill, paste some For Sale" signs on your cars and make the folks aware you are selling, you never know.
Spread the word through mileage I say. This is the Mr. Ed tour as a cause.
Where do we meet? That same place off of McFarland maybe? My place? I am game for a morning/lunch cruise past Dahlonega and a reversal of course with a return back to the Perimeter by 2-3 PM. Weather looks beyond decent at this point. Go for it.
P.S. Cushmans, M6s, and all motorcycles welcomed. Soon to include Studebakers and Lotii.
If any of you got your identidy robbed recently, my place it should be, with a burnout contest.

Think I could do Sunday morning through about lunch time. Wendy has a flight out early Monday, so need to be back for the afternoon for mandated "quality time".
Also need to stop by White Columns to give a quick ride to a friend's college kid home on break.

I'm game for Sunday morning - we can roar past Crackers church just for grins.
TC no studi or loti here - how about a 64 - 67 Fairlane with a giant FE stroker motor or perhaps a Mustang with a serious SB.
