Default Ride?

Will be at the shop 'till early afternoon if anyone needs a destination. Nice day..... Coffee and donuts as usual. Usually quiet on Sundays and I need to concentrate when wiring. Bob

400 North to exit #17, go rt onto 306 North for about 2 miles, look for North Industrial Drive on the right (you'll be going down a small hill). Bldg # 4475 all the way in on the left. Parking lot entrance to the left. I have a black Lightning, it'll be out front.

How bout if I was coming in from Hwy 53 @ I-75? I live over in Paulding County. Driving down and over to GA 400 - then up to Dawsonville seems out of the way and I really dislike driving my Cobra in or around the Perimeter.

Don't know the area too well but if you're coming through Dawsonville center on 53 you need to go south on Ga 9 which you can get right in the center of Dawsonville. Watch for Martin Rd on the left (the road curves right there). Take a left on Martin Rd, cross 400 and left on 306 (North) and then the industrial park is only about 1/2 mile on the right. If you miss Martin Rd off of Ga9 and find 369, go left on 369, cross 400 and go left on 306(North) for about 1 mile. Call if you get lost 706-974-9244 Bob

Nice to finally meet you Bob. I have to say, I was impressed with the shop and all the goodies you had sitting about. Really enjoyed shootin the BS and hearing stories. Now, get that Coupe together so you can come out on a cruise!! Really suprised me when ol Tony R showed up in his Unique.

The ride was awesome. I even managed to get a little sunburnt on the face - nice 'racoon eyes' from the sunglasses. Saw a few cool cars out as well. Passed a 65 GT350 (not sure if it was real or a clone ), a late 60s Jag XKE, a 57 MGB, and mid 60s Studebaker Pick Up Truck. Stopped at Hooters in Cartersville - who knew there's actually a Hooters that DOES NOT serve beer in Sundays!?!?! Not that I was looking for beer, but the place was about empty. A Hooters on Sunday with a NASCAR race showing on the TV and it's empty???!!?!? That what I was thinking too! Guess Bartow County is dry on Sundays. Anyway - nice Sunday (all day) ride.

That was a nice afternoon ride. I was surprised at how little traffic there was on the return trip down 369. Thanks Bob,that was a nice alternative route. Good seeing ya Bud.

Enjoyed meeting you also. Good time. Got a little wiring done and good BS. Come by anytime. The Spec should be done soon, then it's the coupe's turn. I'm looking forwards to cruising with it. Talk to you soon. Bob
