Default Atlanta garage party

It's not finished yet, but it is done enough to have a beer or two with the Atlanta Club Cobra guys if anybody happens to be in the Buckhead area this Friday night, say from 5 till 10. Email me for directions if you can make it.
Chuck Beck is bringing his Porsche 904 , Robb Ginn is bringing his
coupe, and all we're missing is your fine ride.
I bet John Owen even comes !

Johan
Wish I could come up but I will be in gainesville trying to get that wimp Ed Kamptner to break(in) his new motor and cobra on the track. I say break it in like you will drive it.

Ruble

Have a Dos Equis for me.

Shoot, I'll see you in June then. Watch out for Ed, he craps while he drives.

Please make a reservation for one at the early seating. I would prefer a very loud table with a view, near the GT40. Filet medium rare will do, if the Halibut is not fresh - caught today. A bottle of '91 Caymus and a little '63 Fonseca for later. And keep Spydee in the kitchen.

JO, you sure you want the early seating? It's like a Gallagher comedy show. Bring your tarp!

I might not have a '91 Caymus, need to double check. Will a '90 do? Now you got me looking to see what's in the stash. I cannot touch your '63 Fonseca. '70 is the best I can do there for that brand (I'll raise you a Dows or Graham as well).

The Thursday night "pre-party" has me aching this morn.
How about a "cowboy cold" Budweiser and the remains of last weekend's racing snacks ?

Spyderman has some sort of trick to show you that he learned whilst playing Rugby at a Northeastern womens college. I'll have some hamburgers if someone gets hungry.

Johan - thanks for the tour - I enjoyed it - and Jack Lewis hasn't changed since I last saw him 20 plus ago.

I want a ride in #6

Johan,

You are likely just now going to bed.

Thanks for assembling such a neat group of enthusiasts in one place. I want to drive the white VW SUPERbeetle.

Oh my aching head.....I think it's gonna explode.
TC had fun 'cause there is not one PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) left and I know that nobody else would drink one, although Jerome said he would try one if TC came out of the closet.. I unplugged "the band" at 2:00 Am , and told Spyderman to quit starting cars.
I have not seen the cat in 7 hours.
There is an Aston Martin in the front yard.
One of my bathrooms is still locked from the inside. Related ?
Peter Brock was here and added a lot to the conversations about race car design, as did Chuck Beck with his beautiful Porsche 904 with the twin plug 3.2.
The automotive engineering guys from Ga. Tech seemed to be having fun anayzing things ,to the point that they forgot to turn on the neat, neon bulbs from under their radical buzzwagons. The designer of the Miata was floating about.
Lots of the Porsche club people were here as they examined the here-to-fore un-experienced principles of low end torque.
Lots of Club Cobra guys here to help 'ole Johan with MP duty.
Rob Ginn brought the nice Cobra coupe and a Noble, both big hits and I hated to respond in the negative when asked if they were mine.
Now that it is history, I can tell you that I dropped a large plate of bratwursts in the mud and served 'em up anyway.
I'm going out on trash patrol, and if you PM'ed me late for directions, sorry as I did not look at the messages until this AM.
Thanks for coming and I remain,
truley hungover,
Johan
