What a beauty! Why the sale Dave?

Anyone out there considering building one of these should consider looking at this. You can't build this car for that much unless you are an expert painter/body man, mechanic/engine builder & do it all yourself.

Hyde.
I definitely have mixed feelings about letting it go, but I never seem to have time to enjoy it other than looking at it in the garage. My son plays travel baseball, so if you have ever experienced that, you know what I am talking about.

Definitely can't build one for that price these days (or even close to it).

Gotta do what's best for the kids. Hope the car finds a good home!

Dave,

Very nice car, at that price it should go fast. Looking at your photo's I noticed you changed out the throttle pedal box, I'm interested in what you did and why, if you don't mind.

P. s. in 1985 I sold my first ERA for the same reason, no time to use it. Things change over time and I was sorry for the decision up until I built another...good luck.

As a famous man once said...there's a sucker born every minute. Hay... by the way, do you want to buy a boat.

There is an ass for every seat !
Dave, let me borrow the car for a couple of weeks . I'll drive it to the different Hooters around Atlanta and try to get some interest up !.

Car sold. Soon to be tearing up the streets of Nuhremburg, Germany. Thanks Club Cobra. It has been a blast being part of the Cobra Community. I think in a couple of years I will build one with my son, and it will be an ERA-FIA. Maybe I can cruise sometime with you guys in my wifes Audi S8

Hope you got your price. Today you can't even get a roller for that amount.

Hi there,
yes I'm the lucky one who did it. I apologize for taking it away from Atlanta but the Alps with its curves are drooling over it ... not to forget to mention my neighbours who are really not used to such view and sound.
Thank you Dave for all, I'm looking forward to driving your car.

Matthias

The only way I do well in a Porsche is to start off backwards. Dave seems to do a lot better.
I only have room in my garage for Lolas now....

Alex,
I have done my best to ease Johans garage situation. Someone else needs to step up and give a hand. You may even find an old Cobra in there somewhere
