Question anyone with an engine hoist?

Wondering if anyone has an engine hoist I could borrow for an afternoon next month? Or maybe someone knows where I can rent one?

Thanks.

mzhun contacted me via email with the 'real' price! He's a stand up guy, albeit with some engine rebuild bills to pay very soon!

Thanks for the link.

that would be sarcasm, Randy. I am happy to let anyone that wants to hoist the beast into their truck/trailer use it.
BTW, how do you like that motor set up? I am contemplating that or the 408 from Bill and it is a good bit more for the extra few ponies...
matt.

Matt I thought you had rented one and paid that much I love my motor - you are welcome to ride or drive if you want first hand experience with one of Bill's little blocks.

Thanks for the offer Randy. You obviously have not seen me drive
I am looking forward to getting going again and just wondered if you had a specific reason(s) for going with the 396 vs. 408. I think the 396 with solid lift will give me plenty of hp and driveability...

I spoke with Bill today. He got in a wreck a few weeks ago and just got my engine torn down. Pretty good damage from the distributor failure so I am going with the 396 stroker. It will be at least 3 weeks till it is done:-( In the mean time I have preped and painted the engine bay and the rear end should be done by this weekend so that I can get that installed and work out the new brakes.
