Default Pol for Saturday cruise to N. GA

Let's see who's up for a cruise to Dillard this coming Saturday. Unless things change weatherwise (and what's the chance of that?), Saturday looks to be workable. Since the two areas of Cobra infestation seem to be Gwinnett and Roswell/Alpharetta/Kennesaw, we could pick a meeting place for the camps to converge. Or meet at the Dillard House and and convoy back through central GA (like a previous trip). Any takers?

It's in Dillard (Rabun County), about 10 miles from the northeast corner of the state. It is awesome country cooking. They installed stomach pumps at each table so you can literally eat until you die.

Hey guys you notice we are all 'senior' club members now The Dillard house is too far for me (maybe theres something to that senior stuff.....oh well) Also in Dahlonaga is Wolf Mountain Vineyard. They had a car show last Saturday(just found that out..another senior moment) Its run by some friends of mine Karl and Linda Boegner and the wine is surprisingly good. Karl is a gear head he has a collection of porshes

If Clyde is allowed to participate with that sawed-off British thingie, we'll attend in our plastic car.

Alex, I never knew you knew Karl. I know him from the Roswell Historical Commission and the Founder's Club, and he is friends of a friend. Small world. He likes his Porsches.

Not that I get a vote (no Cobra, no vote), but that winery sounds like a winner. In addition, we used to have a Porsche as well.

Marc you get a vote - it just doesn't count - until you replace the "plastic car" with a "plastic car" of different proportions

I think it looks a bit upscale for what we are doing - plus I didn't see anything about Sat lunches - only the neck tie group on Sunday - we would be a bad fit in our tee shirts and sneakers

I want fried chicken, veggies and sweet tea We can go to JO's if we want fine wine

Default sawed off thingy checking in...

Tony... remember the rule, you post, you decide!!

If my vote still counts... GA mountains and fried food works. If we find that closer than Dillard, that's fine, but the drive is the destination!! .... and its Thursday .....

An alternate route up 19 to Blairsville and west across 76 and back down toward Canton would likely run us past some BBQ and may allow our western members to join in...

I'm just getting over some gawd awful redneck disease my son brought home from the hills of north Georgia. It had me coughing so bad my nuts felt like they were bouncing off the floor.
