This local club and bicyclists are meant for each other now that I think about it.
Maybe I should just dust off the bicycle for open air motoring and save on fuel (WTF, I put 8 gallons tonight in the Alfa and paid over $20), I'd get that 100% open air feeling...no doors no restraints, no DOT, no NHTSA, and get some exercise as well. Then for acceleration G loads, cut off a big truck or Semi every few miles for that true catapult launch feeling. Thanks Randy! However, we now have the passenger weighing 20x the vehicle.
Ad Valorem $0
Tag Fees $0
Annual Fuel Fees $78.23 for Bush's Baked beans
Insurace $0
Maintenance $2.65 for tires
Bottled water to regenerate TC's sweat $35,000 annually
P.S. Please join us in two weeks for our next meeting on how to get the legislature to turn all roads into bike paths.

Clyde, with the roof on, would I fit, I saw you mention on EliseTalk that the car might be tight for those over 6 feet?

I had my Lotus Elise at Flashback Saturday, but I didn't see any Cobra's. Where did you guys park? I was in the red Lotus parked next to my friend Rob's blue Elise.
I'm 6' and I fit great in the car. It has a ton of leg and head room. But it lacks a** and shoulder room. It's the most fun you can have on 4 wheels... really.
Can you spot the Lotus hiding in the trees?
It's not the car that's leaking... that would be the Ford.

While traveling to the beach for the 4th I looked into one of the cargo holds for some reading material and, lo and behold, there was the Car and Driver that compared the Lotus to the FFR, among other cars. The Lotus got first with the Cobra bringing up the rear and many funny comments from the writers like "spooky stearing." The Cobra did, of course, win the 1/4 mile... I'll scan and post the article if anyone is interested.

I only saw 2 Cobra's at Flashback. One apart in the shop with a sour hole and one that came for the event. Mine sat home.

Yes its the green one and you told me you gave me 100. Thanx
did they save the score sheets it would be interesting to see the rest of the scores. Unfortunately we had to leave early and couldn't stay till the end so Neal from flashback who did a large %age of the work went up for the honors. When we left we had a red chip in the basket. Was also wondering if we got any more? Next meet I'll pace the car better
