Default Giovanni's car show, Cobra is featured 6/17

Guys, this months Giovanni car show will feature Cobra. every month a different exotic sports car is selected and this month I have selected Cobra.

there is no fee, no special attire, no trophies, just good clean fun and true sports car show.

the event will be at Giovanni's Italian Food .
3630 Peachtree Parkway
Suwanee GA 30024
770-232-1122.

Intersection of Mcginnis Ferry and 141, in the Kohls shopping center area.

event starts at 4 and ends at dark. Most of the cobra club guys have been to the event before so come and bring your Cobra's.

thanks.

the weatherman is saying warm and sunny for Saturdays Cobra day at Giovanni's.

looks like we will have about 60 cars this month, all exotic. Its going to be great to have another Cobra day .

Giovanni's
3630 Peachtree Parkway
Suwanee 30024
770-232-1122

major cross streets are Mcginnis Ferry and highway 141. Giovanni's is in the Kohls shopping center strip section nect to a Matress shop and Carabou coffee. we have the entire side and rear lot for our show. 60 cars is the norm.

Brian, we'll be there. We BAG people ( Braselton Automotive Group) plan on taking the GT-40 and the coupe. We'll try to get the Cobra and the perhaps the GT-350 out too. Rob Ginn

awesome guys. I was driving home last night near Giovanni's and I saw a silver Cobra pull into the QT accross the street. the driver had a baseball hat on backwards. silver with white stripes and bigger than normal white wheels. they looked like 20 inch Halibrands. he also had white ceramic side pipes. man, that car looked good.

I was going to turn around and talk to him about the Giovanni event this Saturday but I got caught in traffic, then I realized that he is probably a member if the Club Cobra guys.

right now it looks like we will have 60 exotic cars this month. see you all there.

I've been thinking about trying a run up there from Peachtree City, since the weather looks pretty good, but all I've seen lately are people saying they ain't goin! How many Cobras do you expect tomorrow?

What's the best route from I-85??

hopefully at least 10 Cobra's. Rob is bringing over a GT350 and a GT40 as well as the Daytona Coupe. Gordon Peters is bringing over his Cobra and a few guys on here are bringing theirs. Hopefuyly you too. Its cobra day so the more the better. there should be 10 Cobra's. that is what I think. There may be more .

we have about 60 exotics that come each month. Lots of Ferrari, Lotus, Aston, Porsche, Triumph, Alfa, Jag, its always a nice event. free, and alot of people that come to spectate.

if you havent been to Giovanni's before its a great place, great food. The Giovanni event is the best pure sports car show in the State of GA . we dont allow junk in the show. its pure sports cars so you wont see any 4 door Honda's with spinning wheels etc, its pure sports cars.

Hope to see you there ?.

Cool ... got one doing 105mph the other day in a M3. That was his 1/4 mi trap speed. BTW, you won't be able to recognize me. I'm on the downlow. My car tore up - they gave me a loaner.

OK! The weather looks like it will hold up today, so I'll be taking a thrill ride up there on 285 from the south end. Any advice on the best route from I-85? I hope to be there by 4.

The Old P'tree exit is a good way, head west on Old P'tree, at the first intersection turn right on Satellite, turn left at a light on Mcginnis Ferry which leads to the intersection near the event. Beware of speed traps on that stretch of Mcginnis Ferry!

thanks everyone for coming out. that was a great event and I believe our biggest month ever. we started 2 years ago with 4 cars and now we are up to 60. not bad.

Hope you guys had a great time.

Thanks Rob for bringing the Daytona and GT40, and it was really nice meeting Mr Beck.

Thanks again Cobra guys . You guys really made a nice splash with the sounds of those brutes. no replacement for displacement.

Brian
