The link says a MINIMUM of 3000 tickets must be sold or there's some undisclosed "Plan B" or 50/50 raffle. Do you know many tickets have been sold thus far?

Details: You must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets or win a prize. Prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with tax, tag, title and delivery fees. If minimum of 3000 tickets are not sold, Grayson Goal Club reverts to Plan B or a 50/50 split of net proceeds. Raffle winnings are fully tax deductible and must be reported on the winner’s State and Federal Income Tax Returns. Car is valued at $35,000

And not to be a detail freak, but winnings are not tax deductible (to the winner) but rather taxable.

Of course, if you know of a way for me to win a $35,000 car and then deduct that amount from my income for tax purposes, I'm all ears!

Two things:
1) The Grayson Soccer Booster Club decided to push back the drawing to March 2nd, 2007 so that the car can be given away at a home soccer game. This will also ensure that they sell enough tickets to give the car away.
