Well, the text says he'd take $22K. The car's exterior doesn't have a lot going for it (pro stock hood scoop, rare color, exposed trunk hinges, etc.). My guess is that someone out there would be willing to spend $15-18K on it just for grins and thrashing, but not much beyond that range.

I do not believe 627 rwhp from 460 ci, normally aspirated, with 10.5:1 CR and a rev limit at 6000 rpm. Riiiiigggghhhhhtttt....
But, even so, with all due respect, I think 15-18K is too low, even with the hood scoop. That can be changed for not very much.

I've seen it in person ... and for once I'm going with a "NO COMMENT."

I agree with comments from Itbites plus it's worth it if you like it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if you are willing to plug some dollars in to
this ugly duckling , who knows.....that's a great green for '59, and I'm sure you would turn some heads with it, but not for the reason you would be hoping for. Apparently you like this beast or you wouldn't be asking for feedback. People have started out with a whole lot less than this for a bunch more money.....

This car used to be owned by David Valdez here in the Dacula area a couple of years ago. He bought it off his boss and drove it for the better part of a year. I remember it had plenty of power, but it did have an over-heating problem in stop and go traffic. I don't think he was running a puller fan at the time. I think he bought it for somewhere in the mid $20s. The make of his car was "Integrity".
