I'm in, if you'll have a non-Cobra owner at the table. Maybe there'll be a kiddie-table for us wanna-bes...

I've got a plumbing crew coming in tomorrow morning to do some serious surgery in one of my bathrooms. It involves breaking a hole in my slab, so I doubt I'll be free in time to participate. I hate it. I was looking forward to seeing yous guys. The little red car is actually running with minimal leaks.

Well, the ACC hit an all time low but it was fine with me. Scott, his daughter and I enjoyed a nice lunch with ZERO cobra's attending...it's kind of funny when you think about it. Happy New Year everyone and it was nice getting to know you better Scott.

I'm sorry I missed it. Apparently no one told the good people at Delta that this would be a busy travel week, so while they have poured money into infrastructure that spits out boarding passes as if they were Pez candy, they don't seem to have invested anything into the human resources required to check bags. (We had to take a relative to the airport.)
I asked a not-too-busy Delta employee, "So what is someone supposed to do here? I mean, all of these people have their boarding passes, but it's going to take you two hours to check their bags? What are the options?"
With a sincere smile, her reply was, "Well, you just miss your flight."
As a result, I didn't make it back in time to have lunch. Oh, well...I may not have been able to have lunch with car aficionados, but at least I got to enjoy my mother-in-law's company for another 24 hours.
