Damn, I read a little closer and it's not until Feb 4th. It's an anything Ford car show (participant award) and chili cook off. Today would have ben perfect. Ft. Yargo is a park in Winder.

Scott, look in this coming Friday's Journal in the "Wheels" sectio under car shows. Ft. Yargo is a park in Winder between highway 29 and highway 316. The event runs from 10 to 3 on Feb 4th.

Yargo
We attended a couple years ago, it's all about chili, with people who just happened to drive to Ft Yargo in a Ford. We showed up with about 8 hot cars from street rods, SPF Cobras, Bonneville race cars all expecting a great show, but without any buckets of chili. Boy did we look stupid, standing around looking at our own cars while the rest of the regulars were inside the warm pavillion eating. Needless to say, as non-chili eaters, we won't return..... FYI, next Giovanni's is Feb 17, only 2 of us showed up last week for the January cruise.
