Burgers? Did you say Burgers???
Don
I will be there if weather permits. I will also get with Tim and see if he can make it. Maybe whoever gets there first can set aside some spots so we can park together? What time do you want to meet?

Bud
It is up 400 at the dawson outlet malls. Take a left right before the mall and the show is on that back corner of their lot.

Outlet Mall
I'll try to be there with a Cobra or the GT40. Be careful on those ladders, Bud, or are you letting your significant other handle the high work?!?!

What?!?! Are you kidding? She just walks around the house in her underwear - barking orders - and - I'm good with that.

When I was down there on Monday, my block was prepped, painted and wheeled back to the operating room. The rotating assembly was back from the machine shop and I'm in the queue for reassembly. I'm also having my headers and sidepipes re-coated. I delivered a new satin-black 750 carb I had built by Performance Carbs. I'm just looking forward to having the toy back after months of being Cobra-less.

Don,
I will try and make it. I will give the radar a last minute check this afternoon and head up around 5:00. Tony, it appears you are a celebrity at the Unique
events. Of the few people I met on Friday, everyone seemed to know you and hoped you could have made it.

Dang - a little after 4pm - I had cleaned up and was about to pull the FFR out of the garage when I got a call from a friend over in Milton ... it's a steady rain and the radar doesn't look good either.

aight you jokers ... last time I do that for awhile. I drove all the way over there and only one person (with their cobra) showed up ... and the 1 1/2hr ride home was a WET one from Waleska to the front door.

Twice now!
Next weekend I'm riding over to Canton for their cruise-in. Usually over 500 cars when the weather permits.

The rain sure kept the turn out low. There were only about 40 cars that
showed up, usually 200 make It. Glad to see SVOBUD was able to make it, as
was FOX. I know we all need the rain but this is the second month in a row. I hope the weather, and turn out are better next month

Canton is next weekend? Hmmmm .. might be able to make that one, but if there's even look like a slight chance of rain ... nothing doing. It only takes getting caught in the wet stuff once a year to remind me why you don't brave it ... ESPECIALLY at night. The oncoming traffic (headlights) would blind me because of all the water on the windshield. Think I creased my seat.
Don it was a pleasure on my end as well to have someone as brave (or stupid) as me to hang out with. On the way home down Hwy 53, before I got to Tate ... had a lunatic in a late model pick up truck running in excess of 100 mph in front of me thru the twisties - taking up both lanes and almost hitting someone head-on. Guess he thought we were racing? Thought for sure he was going to flip it over a couple times. I stayed back with enough braking distance between me and him - just in case.
