Rocky - I've never made it to Giovannis with the Cobra. Scheduling seems to conflict with me and that place. I'm up for Sunday tho. How bout we meet up at Hwy 515 and Hwy 108 (The citgo)? and go from there.

A group is meeting at the IHOP off 400 (near the mall) at 9:00 AM Sunday. An assortment of cars - Lotus, Lambo, Porsche, Mustang, Vette etc - a Cobra or 2 would probably be greeted with a warm welcome.

The proposed route is

1) Start from Chevron @ end of RT400. (Top-off-tanks)
2) Leave Chevron, make LEFT back to RT400 and make LEFT @ light. Travel north. (Up to RT52 end)
3) Make left on RT52. (That takes you back out to the bottom of the lake area)
4) Head north again on RT19 up to BloodMt/Neels Gap (1st Stop)
5) Continue north on RT19, bypass Vogle/RT180, shortly after make RIGHT on 180, then RIGHT on RT348.
6) At "top" of RT348, on RIGHT is a nice overlook for a group pic. (2nd Stop)
7) Bottom of RT348 make LEFT towards Helen on RT75 (short), and take RT17 north up to RT180.
8) Make LEFT onto RT180 (heading back to RT19).
(opt) Mid-way back go up to Brasstown Bald for lunch stop.
9) Continue on RT180 back over to RT19, frogger south a bit, then make RIGHT on RT180 towards SUCHES.
9) Stop/Tank up if needed, then finish south on RT60........

This particular group is very diverse and prefers driving to sitting in a parking lots.

Send me a PM and I'll hook you up with the forum link.

Sounds great Randy and I'd love to join that trip BUT Sunday morning plans are ALWAYS a conflict. Let me know (in advance) if they ever do anything on a Saturday so I may join.

Damned pagans are always causing scheduling conflicts.

Rocky
I have been busy with my daughters graduation, which is this weekend. She also has state cup next weekend, but I should finally be good to go after that. I have had the car out twice in the last 5 weeks.....grrrrrrr!
