Baby's almost back!
Well, it's been a long Cobra-less spring. I should have her back tomorrow from the last in a string of specialists; McMIchael Motorsports - Southern Automotive - J3 Motorsports. She's sporting a complete engine rebuild, new carb, fresh polish (with Zoopseal), recoated side pipes and headers, new driveshaft yoke, new front wheel bearings, tightened rear hubs and new rubber all the way around. If the vibration is still there - nope, not going there. I suppose I'll be ready for a cruise somewhere. Anyone in Atlanta still got a pulse?

Hollar at me if you want a cruisin partner ... I'm available most Sundays. I can map out a course that excludes known bicycle routes.

The saga continues
Well, I thought i was going to pick my car up today but it appears I lost third and forth gears. J3 pulled the tranny and opened it up to find that the main shaft was broken into two pieces. I threw it into my pick up and hauled it down to Vintage Mustang in Decatur. They're going to rebuild it and have it ready tomorrow afternoon. Oh well, it's only money.

Hi Tony. I hope you get you car back soon. Did you happen to see a motor at Bill's for me...(Bob Kay)? I bought one of his Super FE motors and am awaiting delivery now. I'll never use all the power...I just want to hear it run!

Hey Bob, I'm sure I saw it back there. I was always so fixated on my project that I clued in on little else. I've heard several comments from folks who purchased Bill's super FE and they've all been very positive. And trust me, you'll use the power. I traded a stock stroke Windsor in for my stroker and I've never looked back.

Bob, It is just nice knowing you have the power available under your right foot.
I might have saw your super FE but they had a lot of FE being put together and Susan pointed out that one was a Super FE.
I have my stroker now (upgraded my stock 427) and I love it!!
I loved my 427 but I really love my 482.
Tony, Enjoy your new ride!

Thanks, guys. I can't wait. My other car had a small block (347) plenty of power but I always loved the big motors that would suck your shirt off if you got too close!
