We're talking about a bunch of cops here Tony. Yes, there will be Krispy Kremes ... and they're usually so fresh, they're still warm.

haha
Cops... donuts... Well, we know Bud has a sense of humor...
SO... I rebuild the home network, fire up ClubCobra, to check in to see what is going on and see Jason, Chip, Alex.... selling or sold.
Should we start another forum? Atlanta Club Cobraless? Hisssstory?
I assume everyone has or is getting a replacement toy. Should we all bring them out to the show? (Anyone with a Cobra can still bring it)

Hey Bud, here's one for you:
Returning home from work, a blonde was shocked to find her house ransacked and burglarized. She telephoned the police at once and reported the crime. The police dispatcher broadcast the call on the radio, and a K-9 unit, patrolling nearby, was the first to respond. As the K-9 officer approached the house with his dog on a leash, the blonde ran out on the porch, shuddered at the sight of the cop and his dog, then sat down on the steps. Putting her face in her hands, she moaned, 'I come home to find all my possessions stolen. I call the police for help, and what do they do? They send me a BLIND policeman!'
I'm going to shoot for being there a bit before lunch.

Tony - funny - as me and my partner have assisted in catching 6 burglars in the past 2 days. First signs of a weakening economy.
The first call, female locked herself in the bedroom when she found 3 burglars inside her house. I was the first officer on scene - me and partner (off leash) go to the (kicked in) backdoor and enter the house ... all of a sudden a bedroom door flies open and there a 20 something female college student with one of them wrapped towels holding her wet hair and what looked like a washcloth covering her body ... "shut the door before you get dog bit!!!" then I turned to my backup and said, 'did you see that?!?!' ... 'yeah, but I dont think that's was the burglar.'
Just finished washing the 4 months of sitting in the garage dust off the old FFR. Picture time!

I dont know if that was a flop or a cool show. Guess I'll need to sit down with the guys who organized that and give them some pointers for the next one ... like, print up 1000 flyers and hit the cruise in circuit for the 2 months prior.
Cobras in force!!! We had 6 total show up - and one Cobra owner with his car. I didnt get a chance to meet the guy from Cumming. Tony, I guess be glad you left early. I headed home at 2:30 cause some serious dark clouds were forming towards my house. Got caught in the worst rain storm to date in the Cobra. Neighborhood was flooded ... and I hit a puddle so big that it sent water OVER the windshield.
Due to lack of sleep, I took out from the house this morning without a camera ... so nothing visual guys.
Gotta get a group together in the Fall when the weather cools off and there's a lot less threat of rain.

Hey Bud,
I'm still trying to catch up with you guy's and meet all. I was on the way back from family vacation! I do think a fall show would have a better turn out. I'm trying to get my car together but it's just taking a lot longer than I would have ever thought! You have got to be pretty close to my house too. I'm right off of Antioch Rd. I agree with the "T-Bone" comment, I don't think I've ever seen him post a comment!! Great guy and I'd love to see the Monster Miata! Give me a PM and maybe you could stop by and tell me why it's taking so long to finish! Thanks, Matt.

Matt - I'm up in NW Acworth, near the Brookstone subdivision.
As for telling why it's taking so long ... dude ... knowing how long it takes to put a car together was the reason I bought my car as a turnkey. I would have been years finishing one.

That was a nice ride up for me. Traffic wasn't bad. Got to break 100, toss a few bucks at a good cause and hang a little while with the motor heads. I made it back in plenty of time to avoid any wetness. I'm about ready for another north GA cruise. Anyone one going on the Deals Gap ride on 8/16?
