Default The Mitty, May 1-3

We hope to have a Shelby/Cobra corral at the Mitty this weekend, I'll know on Friday and I will do another post that afternoon with the location. I'm sure it'll be up near vendor row. Just look for 2 blue/white Shelby GT350's.

Default Mitty Attendance

Is the corral going to be on Saturday or Sunday or both. Thinking of attending Sunday although possible rain forecasted.

Default Corral

If we get it, all 3 days. I'll do a post on Friday evening as to if and where.

Nice to see some of you guys even if it was way too short of a visit. I miss the old days of the McMichael Motorsports open houses .

You don't know the half of it, I know Rob would echo it, but we really miss being across the street with the Superformance dealership and doing the Cobra Corrals. Loved your 962, looked and sounded great on the track, great to see you again.

I only drove the first half of the race. I let a friend drive it for the second half and he was a bit overwhelmed I think. i stayed out during the yellow because I did not want to get out yet, but that 30 minute red flag due to the Corvette fire about toasted me as well so I pulled in and we switched for the re-start. We would have done well I think due to staying out and getting 5 laps behind the pace car before the red flag and then everybody sat there for half hour.
The good old days are missed. It was nice to see you and Rob.

Default Mitty Photos

Marc from Lightspeed Photo has his images posted for the Mitty. There are a few of you in there, Johan. Anyone can also download their favorite images, using that feature. He does photography of motorsports for a hobby, one of the few guys out there who is not looking to make a fast buck. www.lightspeedphoto.net. Click on "2009", then "albums", then "Mitty", and to view in different styles, click on "View". Please share his webpage with any racing fans.
