Steve, the first part lists the carbon fiber parts but the upgrade price list does not, and given the price difference between this one and the other one I think it does not. Just pointing out the inconsistency.

Thank you for pointing that out - I made an error in putting that this car (CSX 6067) has any carbon fiber on it as it does not - I have taken out the reference to the carbon fiber in the text - Thanks again for the page-copy

:-)

How can this car be titled if there is no engine/trans?

Titled as 1965 Shelby Cobra

Quotes from the Planet Cobra website:
"Every Cobra has a correct date-coded engine block or aluminum Shelby engine"
" In fact, our turn-key operation makes it easier than ever for you to own an original Shelby Cobra CSX4000 with the options you want!"
"When the component body arrives at Planet Cobra from the Shelby Factory, our world-class technicians go to work to breathe life into your Cobra with the high performance engine/drivetrain of your choice."

Something doesn't add up.

I suspect the web site is old, and maybe Stephen will pipe in here but there is an indication that the California SB100 rule enforcers are no longer allowing even a division of a seller to do the power train install, and that seems to be what the disclaimer in the post is complying with.
